Respected All,

i have purchased TVS apache RIT 180 from Ahmedabad.
but from the purchase date to till i have problem in working of bike.
i get jerk and disturbed in speed.
i had give complain but and take bike 5 time to them service station but they also not get what the problem in the bike.

i already gave consumer court written complain from lawyer but they did not responded it.
so what i do to get back my money or new bike from them .
Please give me your guideline for what to do and not do.

i had give complain but and take bike 4 time to them service station but they also not get what the problem in the bike.

    they are saying i[censored] want to do job inTVS Motor Company then yu have to pay 9250/- as a security deposit and after interview this amount is refundable.

    please take an strict action against them because many people loses their money.

      Hello,

      I am Selvaganapathy Viswanathan from Chennai, I one of the very few who owns the new TVS Apache 180 ABS. This is regarding the Worst service and Worst product I had from GOODWILL TVS, Anna Nagar. I got a new TVS Apache 180 ABS Last Month for Rs 90,000/-. I started having minor problem on the 3 day I bought the bike. I went to showroom to check this issue... they said that's common with the new bike but the issue gone worse and I know something bad is happening. I got a call from a person named kalirasan From Hosur TVS plant asking for feedback of the bike and I reported the same to him and he said there is few modifications they did to the bike and he said he will get in touch with me But that did not happen at all.

      Today (07/11/2011) While drive the Bike there was a Metal breaking noise from the bike and all of the sudden I was thrown away from the bike, I just escaped with minor injuries... when I call the Hosur plant they did not respond properly, I call the TVS customer care[protected] they said they filed complain and they gave me no reference number and was told to wait for to receive a call from the management that never came.

      *** PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE TVS APACHE 180 ABS FOR THE MOMENT, UNTIL THEY FIX THE ISSUES THEY HAVE IN THE BIKE ***

      It saying this not because me having the issue, I just escaped death...I know how it feels. This should not happen to others

      Im from hyderabad, on[protected]Dealer : **MDH Racing, Banjarahills**), i got my new tvs apache abs, from showroom..upto evening that bike is good. But while i was in traffic my bike engine was stopped suddenly..and i've tried about 30 mins to start .but no use..after 20 mins of walk along with my apache 180, i'd reached home..and called to those people ..after longtime they were responded and send technician..for that time problem was solved.next day bike was given to complete checkup, technicians saying that everything is ok..after two days fuel is goingon dropping from over pipe, its about 1 litre continuously  ...those people are very irresponsible in giving the service. im returning my bike to showroom today itself..i never want to get back to tvs again ..ofcource it is a good product but not in service and customercare..just try yourself so that you can understand ..

        we purchased a tvs wego in march 2011
        as it happens always sellers made tall claims about product and their services
        but all in vain
        the petrol tank was leaking it was reported in first free service they done some thinf and after three days it again started leaking
        the service centre found that the pipe was not properly fitted so they tightened the petrol pipe
        the problem was not solved and finally it was found that the petrol tank itself is faulty and leaking
        so in three months time four visits and two free services nearly ten hours wasted in this exercise. how much i lost in leakage of petrol god knows
        then now the silencer and engine are become very hot even i[censored] run it for 10 to 12 km at an speed of 40 -50 kmph u can feel the heat at ur feet
        i will suggest none to please buy this machine

        i have tvs wego i fount problem with carborator after having speed of above 65 the wego has stopped and in it start only after chock is on, and once my bike was fall from right side and silenser is stuck in main stand badly i has to replace it it is very very weak and bad.

          Start up problem with tvs wego.....mechanic are not aware of this even dealer is not satisfying the customers nedd.......battery is not lasting ,,,,kick and self are dead on every two days....what is the major falling no one knows..........all the customers are highly disoppointed..

          Start up problem and when i turn off TVS Wego on traffic signal button start doenst work, Few days back my bike was stucked in to Road its not starting at all by any of the mode.
          I have completed 3 servicing each time i told this problem to service center but after few days i am facing it again & again. As i am girl it will be very high risk if bike gets off in between road in night when i came back to home

            Hi, my name is srikanth i bought a TVS WEGO when i was in Bangalore on 25th Oct 2010, at the time of delivery the mileage said was close to 50 kmpl, unfortunately i have noticed 30-35 in the starting days, i have approached the service center in Bangalore they said after the first service the problem will be rectified unfortunately nothing has happened, meanwhile i have relocated to Hyderabad and bought the vehicle to Hyderabad wherein i have given the vehicle for 2nd service the same problem exists..

            there was a feedback call from TVS motors and i have raised the complaint - no one cared about it

            today 1st of July when i have approached TVS motors on their toll free number [protected] - first there was a guy called Bharat who picked the call was so bad in talking and he was not at all hearing what i was trying to tell him.. it was like "This is Bharat what can i do for you" immediately "is there anything i can assist you on" "Thanks for calling - have a nice day" and disconnected.

            he didnt even allow me to talk.. just disconnected.

            again i called but no response..

            i am planning to approach consumer fourm.. can anyone assist me on the same.

              i gave my apche 160 rtr for service at TVS service center Towli chowki(MCZ towli chowki) as it had gear problem,and the engineer told me to replace all clutch system costing Rs2000.But the problem was still there even after replacing the clutch system.Then after one month i went to secunderabad centre for same problem(kiran TVS) even they suggested me to replace the clutch system even after i showed the invoice of old service.TVS MCZ towli chowki had cheated me.

                I bought TVS scooty streak from authorised show room and service centre named " SAI BABA automobiles, Akurdi pune. The purchase date of the vehicle is 18/8/2010.

                Since April 2011 the vehicle started giving starting problem. The vehicle stalls any time and takes more than 30 minutes to start. Upon showing the vehicle to Sai baba auto they changed electrical coil, ingnition and electrical wiring all under warranty. However still the problem persists.


                I had taken the vehicle to dealer 3 times and lodged the complaint on TVS company official web site. However the company representative failed to show up but the representative is on contact with me through mobile.

                I want the vehicle to be replaced as i suspect some design problem and i am fed up of constant repairs.

                  Self start not working in gear

                  I purchased TVS Apache 160 on 5may from (BBB Automobiles) faiz road Karol Bagh.
                  and i found a problum in my new bike about self start, the self start is not working in if my bike in gear. i facing the same problum from the day of purchasing.

                  i was informed the same to the u'r workshop people in Karolbagh (BBB Automobiles), at the time of first service and they found the problum is with...

                  I have purchased my vehicle 17/04/2009. Recently i have noticed some problems in my engine and when i went to service centre, they have told that a small bearing is gone and have to be replaced in engine and it wil cost around 2500. I asked them as it is problem with the engine, warranty should be there. But they are giving reasons like that i have taken bike service from other service providers.

                  I gave my bike in only TVS authorized service centres only. Now i am confused whether to pay and repair or any other chances of getting under warranty. My bike has run only 14000kms. My contact num:[protected], Nagarjuna Reddy. Vehicle num : KA03HE4031

                  It is the same with my bike RTR160 . I hear some dragging sound when I hold the clutch.Initially I thought it is coming from the chain case later realized that it is coming from the engine

                  The showroom people said that the issue might be due to the bearing. For me they are giving a quote of 4500+taxes.

                  I felt so bad. I am just out of warranty by a month and I have been doing proper services from TVS showrooms from last two years.

                  Very poor quality from TVS. Never suggest anyone with TVS.

                    Dear sir,
                    I bought a tvs apache rtr180 on 21Dec 2010 from SK TVS mohan garden, uttam nagar. New delhi. The byke is making an unwanted crackeling sound on accilerating it and the front part vobnles and vibrates on going above 50km/hr.
                    I have complained it to the dealer and service centre several time theey tried to do it but were unable to help. Finaly they told me this problem is woth every Apache 180 rtr. However i have checked out other bykes but they dont have any problem. And tvs is not ready to accept it.
                    Where rtr stands for racing terrain revealed i cant race because of thos loud unwanted sound.

                    dear radhey,
                    i'm also facing d same problem... my dealer checked it and told me, it s bcoz d valves n d head r loosend... i got it tightnd and d problem was not solved... then they told me, it s some problem with d camshaft... they changed it... but d problem exists till nw... nw d byk s with d dealer and i askd them to change d byk and giv me a new one or to give me d claim as it has completed only 5500kms n 8 months... but they r not listening to and told me to do what u can do... i'm vry disappointd with their service and i'm going to file a case in consumer court regarding this...

                    I am also facing the same situation. The problem is service providing by the dealer is not good. They are just charging money for unwanted spare parts even in the warranty period and they are not even trying to solve the problem. Where I can register a complaint regarding such matters?

                      I am an owner of Apache rtr 180..I bought this bike on[protected] the secound day the front shockobsorber leaked..I told this to the dealer from whom I bought this bike..reply was shocking he said
                      it's my fault I might have hit the bike somewhere..I was not expecting this from a company like TVS..anyhow i amanged to make mysel[censored]nderstand...but the next problem was totally unexceptable..I went to the TVS dealer to get my bike serviced on(first free service) on[protected]...after my bike got cleaned and washed I discovered few small spots kind of thing on the front mudguard and on the fule tank..later on I came to know that those parts were loosing colour...it was just the 7th day scince I had this bike...beleave me sir I have lost all the faith I had on your company..I immediately told this to the dealer J R classic automobiles which is in Adchini. New delhi..the supervisor told me that he is not authorized to change these kind of parts with the kind of problem I have with them..he said I will have to come on[protected] to his service center again..because that's when an ingeneer from TVS motor will visit his workshop and he is authorized for making such dicision...I am alredy an owner of Bajaj Pulsar 150 scince 7 years now and I never I had problem like this with Bajaj..if I had any problem it was resolved then and there by the dealer of bajaj...I was told by the dealre J R TVS that these are the small issue and it can happen anytime..but sir put yourself in my shoes then you would feel the pain of being robbed..that is how I term this situation...I would request you to please resolve this problem as quickly as possible.

                      J R TVS R K puram delhi is a fraudster.they are now closing their showroom as their target of robbing people and selling them used bikes baught from the nebougher states are accomplished..They change the veichels details on the RTO files as it will be difficult for a consumer to file complaints against them..Buyers please be carefull when you get the vehicle check the engine # chasis # on the delivery recipt and the bill of your purchase that you have made...

                        I gave my TVS-Apache rtr160 to Brilliant motors service center,Rajakilpakkam, East Tambaram, Chennai.
                        First off all they won't pay attention to customers. After service when I checked my bike, then I found out that my Tool Kit, First Aid Kit and my Vehicle papers were missing. These were there under my bike seat before I gave for servicing. They took out my belongings and they didn't keep them back.
                        When I informed them about this then they told that they might have misplaced my belongings and they are not able to find. They were treating me very badly.
                        Now if you are taking something out of my bike then won't you put it back ?? Is that what you do with other parts also ??

                        I want my tool kit and medical kit back and i want to have some compensation.

                          Hello. This is Amit Kumar Sharma. I purchased a TVS Apache RTR 180 on 17.08.2010. The was very good at starting. But From the last couple of month i have been suffering from Jerk Pick Up. I went 3 times to the service center but they are unable to sort out the problem. They changed the carburetor but it is still same. the mileage is also very low. When i start the bike, it moves so slow. My bike is in 4 RPM but the bike speed is less than 13 KMPH. Why did i purchase the TVS Apache. There are still good bikes in the market. i will suggest all of you to not purchare TVS Apache RTR 180.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Sub: TOTAL DISSATISFACTION OF VEHICLE DELIVERED TO US & SEEKING REPLACEMENT/REIMBURSEMENT.
                            Ref:
                            Subsequent to your Quotation No.6772 Dt.15/03/2011 and our Purchase of TVS Wego(Brown) bearing Reg No. TN 22 BP 9704 Carrying Engine No.0G4CB1129735 / Frame No. MD626AG43B1C27312 handed over to me on 18/04/2011, we found the vehicle to be totally defective and unfit for use for its purpose it is meant and sold for.
                            We are extremely disappointed and are in stage of great mental turbulence post purchase of the vehicle when we continuously experienced Auto switch Off the Entire Engine and thereby vehicular movement frequently even at continuous accelerator(Full throttle).
                            Me and my wife both holding valid driving license for 2-wheeler as well as for Car are experienced drivers and preferred this vehicle for various reasons
                            Vehicle switching OFF was reported at your sales office first on the day of Registration for rectification, but was not taken care off. I had also informed the lady calling me from No.[protected], who was collecting feedback on the vehicle and sales personnel cooperation during the process of Purchase, where I pointed out the issue of switching OFF during driving. Although delivery scheduled for 15/04/2011 was not done due to time constraints and second vehicle shown for Test drive was found Physically defective on its front Brake lever and scratches on Body & subsequently next day being Inauspicious followed by Sunday we collected the vehicle on 18/04/2011-Monday afternoon.
                            We left the vehicle back after pooja on Tuesday (19/04/2011) at your office we informed the switching Off while raising the accelerator It was left unattended.
                            Post its regular usage from Wednesday -20/04/2011 I had come several times at your premises and cried out my sufferings and feelings on the defect and hardship. It was a moment of embarrassment and huge agony at mid of Roads when vehicle use to stop on busy Road and people abuse and shout. This has been very disturbing affecting my professional life as well as personnel life where for no Issue of me I had to face the consequences of public at large. Being educated and earning due respect in the society this has brought shame to me.
                            Several rounds of persons inspecting and testing made interim arrangements and said it has been fully taken care off but not actually.
                            Finally I was told to leave the vehicle for a day at showroom when we could elaborately look into the issue; I had left on 30/04/2011(Saturday) with the sales Manager.
                            True Agony Now, Post collecting the vehicle around 20:15 hrs after me calling and confirming the readiness, I drove the vehicle barely few hundred meters when it halted once again on Velachery bye pass Road – Opp to Sri Krishna sweets. I had immediately seeking assistance called numbers [protected] – which reported switched off and landline – 22554993 for 10-15 times when it was also unattended.
                            Presuming lack of fuel, I had strolled with the Vehicle till BP bunk Opp Murugan Kalyana Mandapam at around 21:15 hrs filled up for Rs 100/-
                            Even post the same; the Vehicle did not Switch ON after several attempts by Kick Start/E-start/With Choke On/Off also. At around 22:00 hrs all alone I had to stroll again back home fully exhausted pushing the vehicle for parking it at home.
                            Next day(Sunday-01/05/2011) I had tried switching ON, but failed and took to nearest Mechanic shop, where he neglected to touch commenting the issue is unique and if he mends it will be case calling Null & Void of warranty.
                            So I had to return back home to keep it parked back without using it, when my fear and Mental status broke out completely and wanted to bring to your organization notice on my dissatisfaction
                            My regular Commuting to Office has become tedious without the usage of the vehicle now.
                            The purpose of this letter and intimation is to portray my hardship in wriiten words faced all these days, so that on consumer grounds I take it up further,
                            If I am still left unattended by not compensating economically for all additional expenses incurred and reimbursing the total amount of `53869/- paid by me.
                            Looking forward for your confirmation and cooperation at least during the hand off on Moral grounds

                            The shutting off is a genuine problem with wego. I also face the same at times and my local mechanic said it was due to wrong setting in carburator. It is taking more air and less fuel.

                            Have they responded to ur complaint? If not I suggest you go to nearest consumer court and seek full refund + interest + compensation.

                            I am waiting for Yamaha to launch their scooter. Then I will sell of the Wego.
                            I too have the same problem. Vehicle turning OFF in the middle of the road add with frequent accelerator problem where acceleration of vehicle will not respond and frequent visits to my dealer is not helping either.

                            Was this issue fixed. What action was taken. Could you please guide me on this issue as I'm too going through the same pain and agony. My no is [protected]. My vehicle Registration no is KA-05 HP 3496.

                              i reached there at 9;50 am and they give me 4pm to corect my bike, i go there at 4 pm and the bike was not serviced and they start service at 4;20 pm, i got my bike at 7pm unrepaird and they charged me 504rs as there servise charge when i ask for bill i got answer that we never gave bills to costumers i just tried my bike that was with same problems when i ask for that problem i got answer that we dont hav good mechanic and they talk me so rude that was not good

                              i want to ask that why they use tvs for true value servise whenever its wrong i think thats cmpl is a bad service point of tvs but tvs company going whith that dealer only for money porpose
                              I have a Apache rtr 160
                              My vehicle is about 8 months old & the kms used is around 3500kms... When my bike reaches the speed of 60kms it starts vibrating so when I gave for the 4th free service which was done on 26/05/2009.. I had informed them about the problem. After the service chain sound started to come & vibration problem also not rectified..
                              Due to office & some commitments I took the vehicle to the service center after a week & told them about the problems so they asked me to leave the vehicle for one more day.. The chain problem was rectified but still have too much of vibration in the vehicle when it reaches 60 & above..
                              The kms run is only around 3500kms & the silencer is also rusted when i complained about this they said that its due to heat & they would paint it again..
                              Previously I used Honda Unicorn & my brother has Hero Honda CBZ Extreme there is no problem & the silencer gets heated in all other company vehicle too then how come only TVS company vehicle silencers gets rusted so soon...

                              Chains sprocket & Rear disc Pad replaced with in 5 months of vehicle purchase, survice found very poor and not responding customer properly. Delar is YASH TVS, Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharastra

                              Hi this is lokesh from Bangalore. my bike no. K A 51 R 9998. i have problem my bike of crank shaft . so many times i went the serviced my bike the show room of ashwa motors which is situated in Bangalore near banashankari devedowda petrol bunk. here people are aren't good to be do bike service properly. if i go once and do my bike service again and again i will be keep facing the same kind of problem with them and not only once happened like this each and service am facing same kind of problem. please rectify this issue.
                              this is venkat kumar and i bought a phoenix bike on sep 10 2013..from the third month i am facing serious problem in my bike and it is not yet been resolved..im giving regular service in goodwill automotives in annanagar chennai where there is no proper service and maintenance...i find my wheel wobbling poor pick up low mileage engine noise and main problem is tyre gets punctured every week and tyre gets skid when i apply barake..ii fell down as three tim es where i escaped in a bit.so i want this problem to be solved or il file a complaint in consumer court and get me a compensation..pls provide good service to customers and there is a default in phoenix thatsy its not been a great hit compared to shine..pls i[censored] dont want this to make a issue solve my complaint otherwise all will be sewed..my phone number is [protected] i[censored] dont call me and make it seriously all will be sewed

                                i approached Meenakshi TVS agency at Walasarawakam, Chennai to get spare part for my TVS apache bike. They asked me to pay advance for the part, promising that they would deliver the part within a week. Even after three weeks, there was no response from them.When i approached them in person, their response was the worst i have ever seen, and used foul languages to drive me out, refusing to return the advance amount. TVS service centre people are the most uncivilised barbaric [censored]s, i have ever met.People please dont purchase any of the tvs products hereafter.
                                I, Binayak Bose, Belgharia, Kolkata-700056(Mob-[protected]), purchase anew apachee RTR 180 (grey) from Shaw Auto Centre, 5/4, B.T.Rd. Titagarh-743188 on[protected] in finance from Family credit.
                                On first service whats the bykes problem i tell the service station they nothing do any problem of my byke and also waiting for few hours so what can i do pls tell me.

                                    I own TVS apache 160 cc bike, it gives me a hell a lot of problem from
                                    the date purchase. I followed the usual instructions like riding the
                                    vechile within 50 km speed limit upto 750 km as per the terms. When it
                                    went for the 1st there arised a problem known as " VIBRATION " ie
                                    actually when the bike goes above 55 this vibration occurs and I won't
                                    be able to drive the vechile.This is been tested and accepted be the
                                    service supervisor(Mr.Yuvaraj) from "SATHYA TVS, TAMBARAM SANATORIUM".
                                    Please confirm whether this vechile is fit to ride only 50 kms. I was
                                    treibly upset due to this.
                                    The Next problem arised with my handle bar and it became very tight, I
                                    have given to fix this problem but changed sprockets and chain it seems
                                    to ridiculous. I am not a rash rider even though shock absorbers oil
                                    started leaking and no action was taken at this service centre. I was
                                    totally disappointed with you tvs company.
                                    I want to take action on the service centre and further i wont suggest
                                    tvs apache to my friends circle. I want reply or action from your side
                                    ASAP.

                                      I AM RAKESH BISWAS, BROUGHT A TVS APACHEE BIKE ON 28/08/2009 FROM BARIK MOTORS, MADHYAMGRAM, BADAMTALA. WITHIN 1year 7months MY BIKE ENGINE PISTONE IS GONE. FROM MY BIKE ENGINE SOUND COMES DIFFRENT,VERY BAD & LOUD SOUND IS COMMING. SO AS I KNOW TVS APPROVED 2 YEARS BIKE ENGINE WARRENTY SO I SHOULD GET THE FREE ENGINE REPLACEMENT. BUT WHEN I HAD GIVEN MY BIKE AT SUBDELAR SHOWROOM FOR REPAIR MY BIKE ENGINE, THEY HAD FORWARDED TO THEIR HEAD DELAR SHOWROOM AT TITAGARH(SHAW TVS). BUT REALLY I AM SHOCKED WHEN THEY TOLD THEY DONT HAVE ENGINE PISTONE STOCK. IT WILL TAKE MINIMUM 15 DAYS. BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT I AM DOING NIGHT DUTY SO ITS VERY TUFF TO RETURN HOME WITHOUT BIKE AT 2AM.
