Uber India — account suspended for unknown reason

I haven't used uber at all. I haven't gone even for a single ride.

But my number has been suspended saying that i violated their terms and conditions.

When asked for what was that activity that violated the terms and conditions of yours, they aren't ready to respond.

My email with customer care:

Hi tamilesai,

I understand your frustration but unfortunately manual intervention is not possible in this process to remove the supension on your account. I have no further information i can provide beyond the fact that we won't be able to reverse the suspension.

Although you might not have had the intention, the system automatically flags accounts with activities that overstep our terms and conditions and suspends them.

Happy to clarify this for you. I completely understand your concern regarding the restriction on your account but unfortunately, since this is a system generated flag, we would not be able to lift this restriction manually.

Hi, i clearly don't understand. You have suspended someone's account for violating your terms and conditions. Great! Appreciated. But the consumer has all the rights to know why and what is that activity that violated your terms and conditions, holding the fact that i haven't used uber at all. I don't find your reasoning helpful and the response you provide is not satisfactory. I don't even mind removing your suspension on my account. But i want the reason. You need not manually remove the suspension but tell me the reason you suspended the account. What activity of mine violated the terms and conditions of yours. Regards, tamil
