I, Vikas Sharma, this morning i.e., 01.08.2021 at around 12:05 AM booked cab from my house New Maruthi Nagar to Kacheguda Railway Station. The booking was confirmed and after 5-10 minutes driver of the cab called me and asked about the drop point and after knowing the drop point refused and cancelled the ride. The same thing was happened three times. All the cab drivers not willing to go to Kacheguda Railway station which is around 12 kms.
As there was urgency I booked Ola Cab at 12:30 AM and send my parents to destination. At around 01:00 AM one cab o[censored]ber came to my house and then I have to cancel the trip. Infact after three attempt I not booked the Uber cab and switched to Ola Cab for booking. Uber was automatically booked the cab for which I was charged Rs.78.18.
If I was charged for cancelling the trip that to for not of my fault then why the Uber cannot be charged for canceling my trip on part of driver who refused to come down and insisting me to cancel the ride.
In Ola App if ride was cancelled by driver it will be reflected in "MY RIDE" but in UBER the same was not displayed in "YOUR TRIPS". This shows that Uber is not having fair policy and playing Unfair Practice, for which why UBER cannot be held liable.
Hence I request the authority to take action against the UBER and further direct the Uber to set aside the payment which is shown as due from me of Rs.78.18.
