Uber India — Auto and cab drivers do not respond to requests for ride booked through uber app though they are available nearby

Of late it is becoming very difficult to get response from Uber auto as well as cab drivers for rides booked through Uber app though the drivers are available nearby. It amounts to illtreating senior citizens like us. What is the use of having a company which does not respond to requests for ride, though the drivers are available within the vicinity as per the map
