Today, i. E. 23.06.2017, i booked a share cab from phone no. [protected] for journey from bancourt appt, sector 43 gurgaon to south city 1, gurgaon. Uber confirmed the booking and informed the cab is on way to pick-up. As the cab did not turn up much beyond the informed time, i called the driver. He informed that he was not coming - the reason given was he was not able to get co-passengers, and he asked me to cancel the booking. Thereupon, i cancelled the booking and booked a new cab and availed its services. At my destination, i was asked to cough up additional amount of rs 66/- for cancellation of earlier cab. This amount of rs 66/- may be wiped off against my account as the cancellation was not on account of me, but because of poor service.
This has not happened for first time. On 14.06.2017 also the booked and confirmed cab did not turn up for bancourt to airport terminal 1. After confirmation by uber and on contacting, the driver informed that he was not coming. This seems to be the ploy of drivers to accept the booking and then ponder over it and not turn-up Was this information helpful? |
