Dear Uber India,
We had booked a Uber cab on 29th March at 12:30 pm for First India place, Gurgaon from Saket for a business meeting.
The driver (Maruti Wagon R) called and informed us that he has reached the pick up site but to our dismay when we went down and looked for the cab and driver, it was informed by message that the driver has cancelled the ride himself (its evident in the Uber app) and cancellation charges of Rs. 63.60 was deducted from my paytm account since the payment mode selected was paytm, without any fault of ours.
Again, we booked another Uber cab immediately as we were getting late for our business appointment. This time the driver (Maruti Swift dezire) arrived on time but some 100 yards away from pick up spot. It took us some time to locate him as he had parked his car near metro foot overbridge, where many taxis are parked.
This all has caused a huge amount of harassment - both mental and physical and a great inconvenience with wastage of our precious time.
Therefore, I will request Uber India to look into the matter and take a stern action against such drivers. You are requested to refund our money amounting Rs. 63.60 /-
