I booked a cab in Pune from Wakad to Pimpri which is 11 Kms and the fare approximate while booking was 110 -130. I took the ride and got down at the location which I had entered as destination. My payment method was through card so I did not bother checking if the driver ended the trip or not while getting down only to realise the next day that he didn't.
The driver drove another 30 Kms further after dropping me before ending the trip. So, I was charged 523.98 INR instead.
The fare now also included a distance surcharge of INR 223. So, I contact Uber using their app asking for a refund. A day later they refunded back only INR 182 based on some random calculations.
I have still paid INR 342 which is way more than what I was supposed to. This happened because they did not make any adjustments in the distance surcharge (which included toll etc) of INR 223 nor the journey time. (Please note that I did not cross any toll posts either).
I request a refund of the entire distance surcharge and also reduction in the travel time as I reached my destination in 25 mins.
I am attaching the invoice for reference.
