Uber India — charged for the poor service | |||
We availed a trip by uber taxi 0952 on 22nd november 2017. I would like to bring to your notice what happened on this trip. We booked the above cab for pick up at meenambakkam airport and drop at rani meyammai towers, mrc nagar, chennai 600 028. We were three o[censored]s travelling and my father in law was also a traveller and 85 years of age. The vehicle on travelling down the guindy bridge developed some technical problems and refused to start. After repeated attempts the vehicle did not start and we were left with no option but to close the trip, though it was not our fault. We were charged rs.119/- for a 4 km trip, which got closed abruptly at the middle of the road and we were stranded with an elderly person on board. There was not fault again from our side and a charge of rs.119/- is definitely too much on the higher side as the whole journey, it showed only rs.192/- when a trip got closed, there was no call or communication from your side to understand whether there was any problem. The bill states it is 7 kms, which is false and also there was wait time that has been charged when the driver parked his car elsewhere and with senior citizen with us we were hunting for him. We requested the driver to call up the support and inform about the incident so that it gets reported and the exhorbitant rate charged to me can be reversed. He did not even move to do anything. We were forced to look for options at the middle of the journey and at the hot sun, it happened around 12.30 day time. Was this information helpful? | |||
