Uber india charged me 874 rs for a trip which i never took. 23rd nov i have tried to book a cab but it was not successful. Later next monday morning it was asking me to pay the past due of 874 inr. Since it was early in the morning i was left with no option to pay the amount. I was shocked to see that how a driver can start the trip without my knowledge and without calling me. From the trip details i could see that the driver had gone all the way to some highway just to get the maximum trip money.
It is really a concern about the personal information. If a driver can start a trip without my knowledge, how safe it is to have our card details in there?
I have reported this to uber through app since there is no customer care number was available for the customer. It has been 14 hrs, till now no response from uber.
