On 14 december 2018 we called an uber taxi to take us to the netaji subhash chandra bose airport, kolkata from dl block, sector 2, salt lake, kolkata 700091. The taxi came on time at 0710, and we left for the airport at 0715 and reached the airport just before 0800. The fare was rs254, and i gave rs300 to the driver, named santosh, and asked to a refund me rs45. Santosh took the money and went back to the car, i thought, to bring the change. Instead he drove away fast without giving me the change. I shouted at the taxi, but of no use.
We have been using uber taxi over a month while in kolkata, but have not seen any such dishonest and unfriendly driver.
I am not worried about the change, but about such a dishonest driver in the uber fleet.in future i have to be more careful and cautious with an uber taxi/driver if i call a uber taxi. Such behavior of a driver of a reputed company is not acceptable.
Sorry, i do not have the reg. No. Of the taxi. With the driver's name, the time, pickup point and destination you should be able to pin point the driver and taxi.
I like to know what action you are going to take against such dishonest driver in your fleet.
