Uber India — driver cancelled the trip after getting ride confirmation | |||
On 24th June, 2018, I have booked a uber pool for the seat of two around 8.13 PM. The Driver arrived and was waiting for us to come. We were just about to open the doors of the car, the drive drove the car without picking up. Later on I checked, he cancelled the trip. I called him in his contact no. & asked why you cancelled & Wasted our time. He was not guilty and said I waited too very long which is not right. I want such drivers to get penalized. I think uber has some rules & policies for drivers and the car owners. I would request Uber to take necessary actions in this so that such drivers cannot harrash in such manner. My point of view is not getting the cancellation fee reimbursed if deducted from the client, its about the time consumed in waiting for the cab & reaching the destination. We rely on uber for its best services. This is the second instance I am facing with Uber. If this continues in future, sooner or later we will loose faith from Uber Cab Services.
