On 20/7/17, i booked uber go from 197/2, motilal gupta road, kolkata 700082 upto aurora film corporation, 125 a, lenin sarani, kolkata 700013. It was suzuki swift dzire. The driver knew that the car had a clutch-gear problem and the car was moving slowly. Near for barlow, chowringhee road, kolkata 700020 (Rabindra sadan metro), the car had a breakdown at the signal, the gear clutch wasn't working, and the driver asked us to get down. And charged me rs 92.71 which i'd to pay.
I cleared the payment and wrote this complaint in the help section mentioning a detail in the "i would like a refund section". But there is no response from uber yet. I'm a regular and diligent customer o[censored]ber services, but i find that since the last 1.5 months, there are several unnecessary harassment that uber is implying on me, like the driver says he won't come and asks me to cancel and uber wants me to pay for the cancellation. But yesterday's incident is simply not accepted from a professional company of this repute like uber. When the driver knew that there is a problem with the car, he souldn't have picked me up at the first instance itself. Uber should be liable for its services. Note this factor and do the needful to provide better services and above all i should be refunded and compensated for the loss i have made. Neither i could reach my destination, nor u ber showed any kind of responsibility towards me. I was compelled to get down in the middle of the road and make a payment instead. Please look into the matter and take necessary action or else i'll have to quit your services.
