This happened on 25th May 2022. I booked a cab for my father to Delhi Airport Terminal 3. The cab was booked from my phone which was linked to my Paytm account. As soon as the ride was finished the amount was automatically deducted from my account. Despite of that, the driver took the entire amount from my father (whose phone was unreachable as he was traveling to abroad) in cash and then proceeded to block my number from his phone. I contacted the uber through help section immediately but they informed that they will not be able to help reimburse the amount that was stolen by the driver. No action was taken by Uber against the driver and there was no customer official who contacted me or someone I could contact. Shameless attitude of the company. Was this information helpful? |
