Uber India — Efficient customer service+majorly glitchy app | |||
Around the 2nd of april, 2017, my uber app started to glitch continuously. It would show that i was on rides that i had completed a day ago, and i was unable to book new rides. To attempt to fix this glitch, i uninstalled the app. When i reinstalled it and logged in, i was told that my account has been banned. Unsure of what had happened, i tried searching for a customer care number. I didn't find one that worked. So i reached out for help through e-mail. I sent an e-mail requesting information about what had happened and how it can be fixed. The responses from uber were extremely vague. They told me there had been a breach in the terms and conditions. I constantly requested that they tell me what the breach was, or atleast put me across to a person i could explain the situation to. But they refused to provide me with any information in the matter, and have just banned my account without even informing me what had happened, even though i am sure there was some glitch with the app itself because of which this entire situation took place. But the way uber handled the entire situation was literally the definition of worst customer care ever. My account has been banned for mysterious reasons only the uber representatives know, their app glitched out on me for days, and i've just been kept in the dark. I hope this is a platform where complaints are taken seriously because so far uber doesn't seem to care. Was this information helpful? | |||
