On 02 nov 17 me and my wife arrived lucknow airport arrival terminal at about 2040 h. At about 2100h while collecting our baggage i contacted driver junaid at mob no [protected] and asked him where we should come or if he can collect us outside the terminal. He said he is waiting in parking area and we should come soon or request would get cancelled after 5 mins delay. We soon collected our baggage and reached the parking area but there was no response from the driver despite several calls. It incidentally happened that the uber car we were standing next turned out to be junaid. On asking him to take us he refused stating that my request is cancelled and i should book once again!
When i tried booking another cab through uber app it showed i haven't paid the driver rs 52.46 and did not connect to any other cab despite trying for next half an hour so thereby causing immense inconvenience and harassment. This is ridiculous service!
I want to know why the driver did not take us when he waited at the parking area for quite sometime after we contacted him. And why was a fine levied when i had not cancelled my request and worst not connecting to any other cab. The penalty charges must be immediately removed.
