Date of Incident - 19th November 2022
Description - I booked a ride from Uber and selected payment mode UPI.
Pickup from NIT-2 Faridabad and Drop - Sector 59, Backyard Sports Complex, Gurgaon.
Driver Name - Deepak Agarwal | Car - WagonR
Complaint - While book the ride, I selected payment mode UPI but once I reach to my destination I found some issues in Uber app and somehow I was unable to make the payment. On destination point, there was huge crowd due to sunburn festival and because of lot of police cabs weren't allowed to stay for long-time. So, driver ask me to make the payment directly for UPI and I did.
Now, Uber is asking from me to make the payment of outstanding balance. They are not coordinating with their driver and not allowing me to book any ride untill I will not make payment again.
I tried many time to reach their customer support but no call received by them. One template reply I am getting that as per the policy o[censored]ber, I have to finalize outstanding payment.
