Uber India — I am asked to pay again for a payment error happened from uber | |||||
I happened to take a trip from uber india from bangalore airport to jp nagar. And i got a bill of 1018.00 rs and i made payment of 1018.00 from my debit card. Surprisingly i was asked make payment again with uber even though my bank statement has confirmed money got transferred to uber account. For 2-3 weeks they kept on saying it was payment gateway error and they can't do any thing, and with out confirming if issue was resolved they kept on forcefully closing tickets (Height of professionalism i guess). After almost a month they confessed that it was any issue with uber and wrongly the payment status was updated. I was relived finally that uber has understood their mistake, but they wanted to take things even further. They have issues a credit of 1018.00 to my uber account and asked me to pay again for 1018.00. Which is really disturning, what makes them think that even after this terrible experience i will still go and use their service worth of 1018.00? Even if i do how they can force customer to use their service for customer's money? Is this how uber make sure customer's will not use competition and stick to their service?
