Today myself and my friend booked an uber auto to my friends place. Actually I had get down on my way but unfortunately I didn't know that there was an option to add extra location. We both got into the auto. I insisted him to take another route that was not shown on the map, and it was also an easier route that I suggested. But he refused to take that route and told that the drop location is in villivakkam I'll only take that route in a very loud tone. It was already 9pm. There was a flyover that he can take or else he can also go beneath the bridge. I asked him was he taking the bridge or is he going beneath. Immediately he stopped the auto and told in a loud tone that the drop location is in villivakkam and I'll go only by the flyover. I was totally annoyed but with lot of patience and respect I told sir which ever route we take it's the same route. If go beneath the bridge I can get down on the way. Immediately again he raised his voice and very disrespectfully told me that 'you cannot tell me on which route I should drive in' . I was very offended and got down from the auto, literally it was in middle of a busy road. I might have even got hit by another vehicle. But I still sent my friend in that same auto as I already Google paid him the amount. I had to walk for 20mins in a completely dark road.
This was a very bad experience for me. I don't want this to happen to any of the passengers in future. Was this information helpful? |
