I have 2 incidents with Uber which is not at all acceptable. Details are given below:
1. On 30th Sep, I have booked Uber cab. However, driver didn't reached my pick up point and even didn't bothered to call me. After a couple of calls made by me, he stated that due to heavy rush on the road he is unable to reach. Being frusted I came out on the road and to my surprise I couldn't find any congestion on the road. Once I queried, the driver confirmed that he is waiting in some other place, which is almost 1 Km from my pick up point and asked me to walk up till that area. However, once I started walking, I could not find any rush on the road and being fade up I have cancelled the ride as I was getting late. But, Uber has charged me Rs. 60/- as cancellation charge, though driver failled to turn up at the pick up point (which was clearly defined in the route map).
2. On 6th Jul, 2016 I had booked a cab from Uber. However, the driver has changed the money for to and fro travel (total 16.58Km), though I have travel only one way, i.e. approx 8 Km only. Once I came back home and gone through the Receipt, I came to know this incorrect charging. On 7th July, I have raised a complaint with "[protected]@uber.com" (ref no.[protected] and provided them the receipt and also the details of my journey. However, I have not received any reply from them till today..!! Was this information helpful? |
