Uber India — Levy of cancellation charge 20/06/2017

You are charging rs.60/-for wasting my time for half an hour.

In the first instance, when you assigned the car, mostly it was dzire for uberpool, at 9.16p. M. And car driver, a muslim, whose mobile number was [protected].

Firs i talked to him at 9.16p. M., then he said i am at marine line, will be reaching in 10 to 15 minutes, then i said ok

Again called twice on his mobile at 9.27p. M. The mobile was coming not reachable, actually that driver was not interested to come, therefore, kept his mobile on "do not distrub" mode, therefore, only one ring used to be heard, after that it was saying "the person you are trying is not reachable"

Thereafter i tried again at 9.29, 9.31, 9.32, i tried to contact, but same message'"mobile is not reachable"

Thereafter, having realised that your driver is not interested, i tried to cancel the cab hiring, however, you were giving the message that i will be charged for the cancelled trip, therefore, i did not cancel the trip.

Your driver wanted to outsmart me, and hence, gave single ring at 9.32 & 9.34p. M., and immediately disconnected.

Thereafter, i saw the car coming to my place at fanaswadi, however, the driver did not stop, in spite of my showing hand to stop the card, instead he drove away the car at very high speed, and thereafter, he might have informed the uber, that the customer was not available, and hence he could not pick up accordingly uber informed me of the cancellation of the trip. At 9.36p. M.

This is all that has happened yesterday, thereafter, i again booked another car from pickup point vinay hotel, mostly xcent car at 9.41p. M., and started the journey by 9.47p. M. And i discussed this matter with the said driver, and he said there is no call centre number for loding the complaint, however, gave me the number 33992233 for loding the complaint, and i rang that number however, answering machine said you are working 8a. M. To 8p. M. Only.

So if you feel ok in charging me rs.60/-, then better recover and tell me where to deposit the amount, and hereafter, i shall stop using the services of your company, and will spread the word, that you will charge the public, for no fault of them.

I have kept the call records of your above car driver, and can be mailed to you, as and when required, if at all you wish to take any disciplinary action against such drivers.
