I booked a trip on Uber from Chennai Central Railway station to IIT Madras, Chennai on 22 July 2022 at 9:57 am. The drive did not turn up and denied cancelling the trip. An amount of Rs. 136 was debited from my account as dues on my next trip, despite me not taking the trip. I contacted Uber customer service, and they did not give me any resolution, simply stating that the trip was over 30 days old, and it cannot be resolved. It is clearly seen from the trip details that the driver wandered to and fro in the same area (Poonamallee High Road), which has no connection to my given location.
I have been constantly trying to contact them since the amount was wrongfully debited from my account over calls and their app, but to no avail. Please help me in receiving my refund. Was this information helpful? |
