Uber India — overcharging by preselecting longer routes.

Yesterday i took a ride from pottakuzhy to my home st. James rd, vytila in ernakulam.

Due to the stupid system now the route is preselected and the fare charged on that basis even if there is a shorter route.

I was charged for a route which goes to edapally in the oppsosite direction and then driven down to my address although i asked the driver to take a more easy and much shorter route.

It seems uber india is now scamming its customers by pre-selecting longer routes and arbitrarily setting fares and there is no scope to send a complaint as they have removed the their email and the riders have no choice but to use the so called help in their app which is a bigger rip off as there is no way to complain about uder's practices. I was using uber for all my needs but have now purchased a car in this already overcrowded city to avoid being scammed by uber india.
