I booked for an uber pool ride for two persons on 18th may 2018 at pune. I got an immediate confirmation from uber alongwith the required details about the vehicle. The driver also did contact me and asked for where we are to go and i did respond to that. The driver was just about a kilometre away when he talked. However his vehicle was stationery and not moving at all and i called him twice but he did not pick up the phone. Thereafter i cancelled my booking and was informed that i would be charged rs 42.50 as cancellation fee that i duly contested and reported to uber and uber also informed that the cancellation fee has been credited back. I took a fresh cab from uber (Ubergo) and reached the destination and at the destination i observed that the cancellation fee has not been credited so far to my account and i paid the fee and closed that call. I reported this back to uber and uber without even bothering to look at my invoice informed that the credit has been adjusted and the issue is closed. I think uber is cheating the public of the country by informing that false credit has been provided to the customer. I strongly recommend every body not to use uber and go for ola as the service and feed back are far superior. My telephone number is [protected].
