Uber India — Seat Belt not present | |||
Greetings, Iam Sankaranand.K, Safety Manager in General Motors, Bangalore. Date - 31.March.2017. We have been stressing on usage of seat belts by all our employee, whether on / off duty. It is been made to accept it, as a commitment of making it a regular practice. But one of my colleague, made a query to me of how to manage Cabs without seat belt. She has booked an Uber Cab on 31.Mar.2017. She sat in the rear seat and then found out that there were no seat belts. Due to urgency, she had traveled in the cab. But she acknowledged her mistake to me on arrival. This is to bring to your kind attention, that your support in ensuring seat belts in each of your cab might save lives in future. Think of it.
