I took a uber ride from rgi airport to my house on 4th oct at 23.37. The payment method i selected was paytm. On the way we stopped at 2 tool booths and drive asked me to pay for parking and orr tool. He said the policy has changed and now the parking and toll needs to be paid by the customer and it's not included in the total payment in paytm. At 23:37 i had no way to check the policy standing at the toll booth. As per uber, it was my mistake that i paid case for the toll and parking even though it was a non-case payment trip. Even though i have the proof of payment that i made they refuse to give me refund. They keep referring to some previous instance where they had given me the refund, however refuse to share which was that previous instance.
I have proof of the case payment i made as well as the paytm payment i made for the parking and toll. Uber refuses to refund stating it's my fault and i should have checked the policy middle of the night and middle of the road.
I have attached the receipt of the cash payment that i made.. And the company has the receipt of the non cash payment made. Was this information helpful? |
