Uber India — Uber not providing service and charging | |||||
Booked cab on 5 Apr 2017 from Chennai Station to Anna Nagar . Ist vehicle did not turn up for 15 minutes . Repeated calls to driver went unanswered . Finally when he picked up he said, mechanical problem with Car, please cancel booking. I cancelled. Again booked another one, the vehicle did not turn up and the waiting time kept on changing with no certainty. Driver did not pick up calls .I was forced to cancel and took another Taxi . On 9 Apr 2017, i took a Uber cab from Guwahati Airport to Panjabari, the system / billing software charged me additionally Rs 100/-, may be for the two cancellations of 5 Apr 2017, which was not my fault . This is cheating, arbitrary charging customers quietly and forcing them to pay. In both the above cases fault was o[censored]ber and not me.
