This is further to the conversation in trailing mail about the reversal of double payment due 'cash paid for online payment mode selection'. Uber customer support department response in this regard is still awaited. Also refer to the attached screenshot of the conversation on the subject transaction since 19 Aug 2022.
Expecting a quick revert with definite action.

Hi Madugula C,
Unacceptable, since I received the invoice / payment receipt post settlement with the driver. Meaning that Uber was aware that payment was received. In that case online notification saying "balance outstanding" itself is questionable.
Instead of resolving software glitch causing erroneous notification, Uber asked me to clear the outstanding balance assuring the amount will be credited to my account, which I did. And now you are arguing that it is a 'time barred' transaction.
Be realistic when you take a position and then honour your word. Any further denials will compel me to take avoidable legal recourse, and I too don't want to go down that path.
Kindly escalate the matter and ask you manager to speak to me on below number.

Despite duplicate payment, which you also agreed to, and as per your advice I cleaned the outstanding balance of Rs 361/-. Kindly check history. And now you are saying that the amount can't be adjusted. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

If you have selected an online mode of payment, we request you to clear the outstanding balance. In case you’ve already made the payment, the difference amount should reflect in your original payment method within 1-3 business days.
If the selected mode of payment is cash, the difference amount will be refunded to your Uber account in the form o[censored]ber Credits. These credits are applied automatically on your upcoming trips.
We appreciate your understanding in this regard.
