I have been using uber service from a long time now. But this incident on 18th oct 2017 in the night around 11pm when i requested uber to go back home from international airport.
I was quite relaxed after requesting as i thought the cab would arrive within the mentioned timeline but i was standing like a fool for almost 40mins by the cab driver with a reason of he not able to come to the location... Like who says that he is not able to find the location of international parking floor 7??? He said he is new to uber which i understand and sometimes it happens but he was struggling so much that i couldn't be more patient and had to cancel the booking.
I was charged 47rs for what??? For me waiting 40mins? For the driver not able to locate? This is absolutely not fair.. This is just my case and i guess there would be millions using this service and have experienced such service atleast once with 47rs cancellation charges
Now you can imagine amount generated due to this cancellation charges by uber
I use other cab services also and never experienced such incidents.
My trust for uber is going for a toss and i feel i have been cheated.
Please try to address this matter to uber at higher authority and look into it
I can only wait and hear on this.
