I am sending this complaint again as no one has responded. Would appreciate i[censored]ber can help please
Had booked uber through the app at 17:45 pm local time, india, chennai, 30/08/2017. The time mentioned was 10 mins. Had to be at my destination by 1900 hrs for a doctor's appointment and trusted that uber would be of help.
Off late have been having issues with uber which has been delaying all my trips by almost 30 to 40 mins. Today had contacted the cab driver's mobile number [protected], and cab no tn22 cv 7418, initially when i had called he mentioned he was completing a drop. Having waited for 10 mins i called back to find out where he was and he said he is on the way. Later after having lost 25 mins called back to find out what happened when he coolly mentioned his tyre was punctured. When i asked him can't be inform me as i have to be at a doctor's place by 7 pm and the time was already 6 10 pm with only 50 mins left to cover a distance of 15 km in peak traffic, he gave me a shock by saying cancel the trip if you want in a rude manner. Having told him that i won't cancel the trip he abused me and used profane language which was the shock of my life. This is one of the worst services ever and i request an explanation with proper action that would be taken for the driver.
Now, i have lost my doctor's appointment which was critical and have to reschedule the same.
With all the good memories with uber this incident has just left me absolutely disappointed and i might never want to book uber again.
I do have the screen shot of the booking which was cancelled by the driver. Though another cab was sent for me it was too late and hence had cancelled the trip myself.
Hoping someone would initiate appropriate action and would revert to me at the earliest. Also requesting a refund of the deduction made.
