UGVCL — We are not provided with electricity bills in hand and then cut connection

What kind of service is this? We don't recieve a single copy of bill and then they cut the line saying late payment. Like what the hell is this.
When asked the guy that came here to cut connection they said k bill wo meter ke piche lagata hai. I mean who goes to check their meter in the basement everyday. And then they charge extra for connecting again and also have to pay penalty for late payment. The worst electricity provider ever. We don't even get a text or any reminder saying bill is due. If not a physical copy atleast provide a soft copy of it.
