[Resolved]  Union Bank Of India — Home loan Subsidy(Awas Yojana PMAY) not Received

Sir/Ma'am,

Meet H Mehta here. In June 2019, I obtained a home loan from the Corporation Bank, Koramangala 8th block, Bangalore. I filled out the PMAY form at the time of the loan. It's been over 3 years but I'm still waiting for a subsidy.

I have written to Corporation Bank Koramangala 8th block and visited them, but I have not received a response.

I followed up on the subsidy every month with a bank representative, who said that when we get the funding, we will credit your account. When I try to find the status on the official site, it says no data was found.

Since Corporation Bank merged with Union Bank of India, I asked the bank representative the same question. He replied it's still in the process but would let you know as soon as it is available. I trusted the bank and its representative after waiting for a while. However, it has now been almost 2.11 years since the purchase. As I checked again with the bank, they said, "The PMAY scheme has been amended and you are not eligible for it.". The bank representative gave me false information.

I received a reply that they have already forwarded it to the government, and they do not have a reference number either. Please help me on this sir, no one is helping me.

The last time I visited on 6th June 2022, the bank representative told me some documents were missing and I needed to fill out a new application form by 15th June 2022. Later that day, they told me I was not eligible. Additionally, they told me it was not a bank issue or a problem with your bank following the merger.
It is not a small amount of money to ignore after merging, and the missing document is not my fault, it is the bank's responsibility, so why am I struggling?

When we apply for a home loan, it takes approximately 3-4 months or within a year to get the subsidy amount, once the verification has been completed.
