I've purchased Apple 4S in Oct 2014, within 6 months my headphone jack broken inside.
I have applied for the insurance claim on 27th of Jan 2015(On the same day this incident happened).
I have purchased insurance from universal insurance brokers Pvt.Ltd.(UIB)
They have rejected my insurance under heading of Miss-handled the product.
It was totally shocking for me to take this decision from insurance company.
Further, I applied for re-consideration of the insurance claim.
It's been more than 10 days, UIB have not given me the result of my claim.
It is disgusting and feeling like Apple corp. is making fool of customer and sealing the products at higher cost without giving proper service for customer satisfaction.
I kindly request you to look into the matter and make justice to me.
I have scarified my more than 2 months for this insurance claim and yet I haven't received result.
I've launched complient in Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI) against Apple Inc. and UIB under the SECTION 12/SECTION 17/SECTION 21 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986 and me and my advocate are about to take step to consumer court(Grahak Panchayat Maharashtra and Grahak Panchayat Pravaasi Mahasangha)
