Dear sir,

I was looked for an a/c bus and i have booked the ticket. It is mentioned that the bus type as "tata a/c seater / sleeper luxury (2+1)". But the there is no a/c on running condition. I was at the boarding point by 12.45 pm before the boarding time 01.10 pm.

Can you please give me an explanation about why you didn't provide the bus as mentioned in ticket?

Based on your reply i will decide whether to move this compaint further as legally which is complaining to road transport corporation, transport ministry, consumer court, right to know information (Rti), district collector grievance, chief minister cell (Cm cell), prime minister's grievence, online social networks, etc. As i am a lawyer as well as a legal social advisor, i can able to forward this as legally.

I have captured all proofs like bus images, videos, attender's response video, passenger's feedback video etc.

I hope that you will give me a proper explanation in 2 days (48 hrs). If i didn't receive any response within the mentioned period of time, i will move further without any notice.

Thanks for your reply.

For UTS tours and travels operator, may I know why are you providing you bus labelled as UTS at the front side and universal travels at the back side of the bus? For the date of complaint, I have been travelled in your bus only. Your website also has been mentioned on the bus. Then how that operator will not belongs to you?

    Sir i have booked univesal bus from banglore to neyveli for 11 oct 2018 as i was new i was waiting near electronic city toll gate on other side till 9.30 i waited then i got call that bus is late by 10 min so again i was waiting at 9.40 i got call that as you have not come i am going i requested him to wait for few min. As i was coming but he didnt wait and i was struggled to get any bus therafter this act gives me mental agony bus pnr no wasuni2386884 kindly see to refund my money fully as there was no mistake on mine

    The customer was informed about the boarding point and was provided tracking details of the bus through sms, it is clearly the fault of the customer to not wait at the right place. Also it is not possible to wait at electronic city toll plaza which is a no parking/halting zone. No refund would be processed for the same

      Worst travels i have ever seen.. They ll easily cancl our reserved/booked tickets befr a week of our travel simply cos for money... So that they can resell our tkts vid high rate for other passengers!! No travels ll do this ashamed trick simply fr money.. Universal travls r nt peopl friendly.. Instead money friendly... Waste travels.. Wont book r travl in universl travls anymore... Ppl b aware of these frauds!

        I had booked a bus ticket through redbus.com on the universal bus service for the afternoon bus on 13th september from chennai to puducehry - i am so disappointed by the behaviour of this travel company - they cancelled the bus at the last moment and there was no one to help. My refund has also not come yet. Now when i am trying to call the number is always busy. It is very frustrating.

          I traveled from tiruvarur to chennai on 27may2018 and the driver is sleeping and made 2 accidents and not driving properly. God grace nothing to happen anyone. He is driniking the tea 1.5hrs in b. Mutlur tea shop and very worst bus for 620. Rs. Even govt bus is better. Fully noise no air suspension. Driving 300km around 8hrs in night time. Always putting headset and listening songs so he is not listening the rear vehicle sound.

          Please take a necessary action to save more peoples life. May be one day your children or parents or your relatives can travel. Then u will realize the pain.

            Last time my mother and me we were travelled universal travels chennai to nagapattinam actual boarding time 10 pm but they reached chennai cmbt boarding point 10.30 after the bus start my mother trying to get in the bus before get in the bus the driver start the bus he kept moving condition bus maintained very worst after got down nagapattinam i realized so people don't book this kind of travels..

            I never had seen this type of worst travel service. I booked from Chennai to pondicherry Bus . It was breakdown. I had a kid and luggage.i cannot easy handle both and get a new bus to continue d travel. do refund our money. What is the procedure to refund. Worst service . We never come to your travel.
            Drink and drive.Bus.No PY02M2723.3hours to surrounding in madurai at oneway road.ur driver not knowing about the chennai route.Time twelve.30 Bus is not Arriving.plz tell the ans.
            Their service is very poor. They charge for sleeper and they provide semi sleeper services. Bus conductor and drivers are arrogant

                22.03.2018 i have booked two tickets in online by red bus.com from cuddalore to chennai. Performing the journy by 8.40 am. And the boarding point was mentioned in the ticket as 'bharanitravels' near new cinima theatre. But the bus not arrived to that boarding place and we are not able to travel on that day. The cost of the ticket i booked is 700 above.i need the money I payed to the bus.The way they treated the customers is too poor.we waited more than 3hours for the bus.but thet dont respond us.

                  This is my second time experience worst experience from this type of stupid travels they don’t have any good bus all are from crap not safe also to travell in that.
                  My firat experience i booked this ticket via goibibo from chennai to velankanni as usual
                  Bus become late 2hrs then after few hours of bording bus got stucked with engine problem and they stoped near kaaraikal and they took some local mechanic to repair this bus who don’t know anything about that work he dont have any enough equipments to handle that problem then peoples who traveled in that bus started searching for another bus even i don’t have any alternate even i rushed because i need go on time are else i can’t finish my work so i rushed i’m not able to go on time so not able do my work nearly 10k of money lost due to that problem.

                  Then second experience today
                  I took bus from velankanni to chennai
                  As usual bus arrived 1 hr late then they took all passengers then i took sleeper berth last seat in that bus, so i sleept of after deperature again this bus got some problem with one hour of deperature then they arrange other bus, then they dint noticed me that im in last seat and they gave me the reason that they announced bit anyway i was in last seat i was sleeping i was not knowing then im asking they don’t have any tickets count or what they don’t know how many peoples travelling that r what fhey left me in that bus ly and with the balance passanger they moved then recovery people took this fault bus to the shed there one of worker saw that im sleeping in the last seat loke this kind of thing nobody will do then dint even noticed me then agin from there i took one more bus and im know moving to chennai sonkondly take an action please this people have more support from goibibo and resbus etc so ly still they are working
                  So please don’t prefer instead of that you can choose government bus sure they ll do their level best

                    A third class bus service, managed by third class persons.
                    Late running, unclean and bug infested buses, rowdy elements driving the vehicles, changing of buses mid way for saving on diesel money, etc have been complained on numerous occasions. But, no improvement, because of thick skinned attitude.
                    I have written to redbus also about this. They are also not ready to kick out this travels from their portal.

                    I am traveling from Chennai to kumbakonam on[protected].the travels number is switched off..they didn't even pick the call and answered about whether bus is picking up..we paid 650 for scania multi axle ..they didn't even show up were waiting to board in the bus..they are fraud and cheat and they don't even care about customer service ..

                      This is to inform that we had booked an ac bus from chidambaram to thiruvananthapuram. The bus was scheduled at 6.30pm but arrived at 7.30pm.

                      When the bus had arrived to our shock, it was an unclean non ac. Now neither can i cancel nor stay back here in chidambaram as i have to be in thiruvananthapuram tomorrow. Furthermore, this bus will stop at nagercoil and from there they will arrange another bus to thiruvananthapuram.

                      When i called your executive & expressed my dissatisfaction with make my trip app & never to use makemytrip trip again he casually replied it was upto me. Wow, what a reply to get when we are right now through inconvenience.

                      We are overall very dissappointed with makemytrip & also universal travels for putting us through inconvenience.

                        I was travelling from chennai to vellankani thru universal travels, driver was using his mobile from the journey start till end.

                        Its an ac sleeper coach they didn't issue any blanket.

                        They were penalized by rto for not having documents where we wasted around 0130 hrs.

                        When the bus crossed karaikal he was ordering liquor thru his mobile with in 10 mins bus stopped and same is delivered.

                          We booked a bus in universal travels from tanjore to thirunelveli... It is said that the bus will arrive at tanjore at 11pm but it is delayed... It reached only at 1am... And also we booked ac bus and paid rupees 650.. But they changed it into non-ac without asking a single question to us.. And also the cost is also the same 650 as ac bus... This is not the first time.. They are doing this often... Please take action against this..

                            I have booked bus ticket to travel from trichy to nagercoil on 23rd december, 2017 and i have cancelled it due to other private reasons. Details are:

                            I duly informed @ trichy number about my inability to travel and they advised to cancel the ticket immediately through online done by me. So far till today (10.01.2018) i have not received refund amount rs.440/- in my bank a/c. Kindly expedite the matter and inform me through mobile no.[protected].

                            I have booked bus from karaikal to Bangalore on 31/12/2017 for the bus Universal which was having boarding time @ 8.55PM from karaikal in online

                            Bus got cancelled but my money is not refunded yet
                            Regarding refunding of cancelled tkts for passengers, I think the Universal Travels should provide a Special Coloum "Grievances of Passengers" in their Website and it is easy for them to attend it at their end, because the Customer Support No. is not attended by qualified Customer Relationship Manager. This is my experience with them. Because I have called them thrice and I understand that different employees attend the number and I have to provide details everytime calling.

                            Hope the administration o[censored]niversal Travels will do the needful for Customer Satisfaction.
                            I called the customer support number but no use. Till today I.e. 7th February, 2018 I have not received the refund from Universal Travels. Anything could be done immediately. I don't know who is higher authorities administering the office.

                            Only I hope after seeing this msg they will do somethng concrete.

                            Till today i.e. on 15th March, 2018, I have not received any information about my retund of Rs.440/-(being Travel ticket from Trichy to Nagercoil on 23rd December, 2017) in my bank a/c from Universal Travels. It is almost two and half months over. I am unable to understand the accounting system and managing administration system o[censored]niversal Travels. I think it is in very bad condition. Perhaps they are not understanding what has to be done. Atleast after seeing this I hope they will do something.

                                I have the book the tickets around 10 pm. Chennai to thirunallar. I got confirmation msg from ur side. With 2 reference phone numbers. I try to called it's in switched off. Then i got the call from one new numbers at 10.15 pm. Sir i m calling from universal bus service. Wr r u. I said im on the way next 10 minutes i ill be there. Boz my boarding point time at 11.20pm at koyambedu. I have reached same time i called up he saying bus left long back. V r in next ashok pillar. I ask sir how u can ho like that. He said sir bus standing long back so police all asking questions so i left.. Really i don't understand. What kind of management. Then he said sir come to thiruvanmiur there bus ill be wait till 12.20. U said ok. I have booked one ola cab went thiruvanmiur reached at 12.15 i called up sir i m n thiruvanmiur wr r u. He said sir i m left from there.. Really i don't no its worst management and staff. Please don't do this kind of job. Don't play with passengers life... It's happened 18.12.2017 night. Please management.. I[censored] do like u loose ur business. People won't come ur bus.

                                  I booked my ticket through red bus. It was a 2+1 seater + sleeper. But the actual bus was a semi sleeper bus which is more like govt setc bus. I booked a seat in front row. But they told me to sit in last row. I just cancelled the trip and came home and writing this review. I have booked some other bus also with this travels. All those were worst experience and this one is the worst ever.

                                    I booked bus a week ago through online from chennai to ramnad on 8/12/17 boarding at 9.30 pm mamallapuram by pass, i got call from ut before 4 hrs this bus is cancelled, says we transfer to next bus, same birth seat is available but it is back side, in my urgent i accepted. Given boarding time 10.30, bus was arrived 11.30, waiting at 1 hr in bus stop, after that some middle location driver says we will transfer to another bus, again wait for 1 hour more, after that they are not provided berth seat, simply they responded wherever free you can seat, that means only last row, i told i have six month baby how i can, they r not take response and treated poorly to passenger, worst bus is universal travels in my traveling, please take some action,

                                      Booked a ticket for my mother-in-law on universal travels through redbus.
                                      Ticket no: tkcu51374136. We were waiting on the boarding point from 11:50 pm till 1:30 am. The number given during booking says doesnot exist. After calling redbus helpline, got couple of numbers which didn't get answered. Even they didn't pick the call while redbus called. I never book universal travels, but this time since redbus given good rating for this bus, i booked.

                                      Please do something! More then money, we missed an important occasion in our family... Regret a lot!!

                                        I have booked bus from muthupet to chennai but they have arranged another alternative bus for that 'dappa otta bus'... I booked lower seats for ladies but they gave upper birth seats... We asked why means they didn't give proper response even for ladies attender telling i[censored] don't want get down and get refund like this in at 11pm of middle night 👿👿... One of worst ever seen... Please remove the bus from booking apps like red bus, goibibi, etc.,
