University Grants Commission — Spoiling of career by unfair means of himachal pradesh university

Address:Mohali, Punjab, 160062

That, my son named gaurav rana is studying in ba 3 year course at ggdsd college, sec 32, chandigarh under the jurisdiction of panjab university and has taken the examination of 6th semester in the academic session 2016-17. My son above named also appeared in llb 3 years entrance test conducted by hp university on 25 may 2017 at shimla and secured 66 marks out of 100. Counselling for the above course was convened by himachal pradesh university on 12 jul 2017. It is pertinent to mention that till date punjab university has not declared the result of ba 6th semester. My son collected the result of all 5 semesters and appeared for counselling on 12 jul 2017 at shimla. It is a matter of dismay that the authorities of hp university who were conducting counselling rejected the candidature of my son for want of result of 6 semester instead of waiting for the declaration of result by punjab university as such deprived him from taking admission in llb 3 years course without any fault on the part of my son who performed well in both, llb entrance test conducted by hp uni. As well as in ba. Course from panjab university. Hp university ignored the merit of my son who secured 66 marks whereas cut off list considered upto less than 50 marks. It is quite manifest that where himachal pradesh university adapted unfair means for admission in llb 3 years course, punjab university is also equally responsible for spoiling the career of my son for not declaring result in time. It is therefore your honor is requested to take prompt action against the defaulting authorities and direction may please be issued to admit my son in llb 3 years course in accordance with his merit in the entrance test.
