University Of Madras — Distance education by madras university is not up to the mark - so many complaints, why?

Distance education conducted by Madras University is not up to the standard of education if you are serious about it. They take the education fees, then their centre in Kurla, Mumbai seperately. Then exam fees and again their centre money. But do they provide the study books on time? No. Why? They ask us extra money at the time of exam and allow us to copy in the exams. This is the funny way they conduct the exams for university exams? here any rule that they should supply the study books at least three months before exams? Now 2016-17 exam is going to be held from 3rd June and all have not got the books till now on 31/05/2017, means just two days left for exam and we do not know what to read and what to write, is the way to conduct the distance education? Does the chancellar of education of all university and mumbai university know this facts? Why Madras University is so careless? 100 times called the customer care in Madras, they do not answer. In Mumbai, Mr.Raj Gopal is the incharge who do not care, only speaks nice words. I also informed them that I am complaining to Mumbai Mirror regarding this facts.

Updated by Rajesh Carlo Hi I have applied for B.sc distance education from Madras University. I have paid 1st year fees in Oct.2016. Received three books in April 2017. Now exam date is 3rd june 2017 onwards. Two books are still pending as on 31/05/2017. How can we study and give exam like this? Exam date 3rd and 4th june, still books not received. Then what to write? Is Madras University serious in conducting the exam or just collecting the fees? What a shame to this poor university? A madras guy went to Madras but did not come with the books. When enquiried, he told a parcel is on way. After one month also he says parcel in the post office. So we pay the money for term fee, etc but where the books? Does education Manager know this? Does Mumbai mIrror know this fact? Is it happening every year? Is Madras University education is so poor? No customer care service at all. Thier education centre is in Kurla west.
