We booked a Vajra cab from bangalore to Ooty round trip at a rate of 7.5 Rs/KM as suggested on their website. We were expecting a language problem with the driver as we speak Hindi and hence asked the Office executives over phone to instruct the driver about the itinerary. The exec. assured us that everything will be explained.
Before we set off, we asked the driver about the meter reading and he said that he will charge from his location as opposed to the Vajra Cabs office as we were promised earlier. This was just the beginning of a horrible Cab service where the driver was driving rash, had put on loud music despite our numerous humble requests to lower the sound. For the entire trip, he never listened to our instructions and drove at his wish to whichever location he felt like driving. The second shock we got was when, while coming back he took a different route because he did not have INSURANCE PAPER. This simply added some extra 50 Kms to our budget. We spoke to the Office Rep. and were told that its just few extra Kms and the route taken is safer than the rest.

Just want to say that we felt like being harassed in a new city. Extremely rude driver and worst service ever.

We have booked a cab from Bangalore to Ooty for a 2 days trip with Vajracabs.com.
But we did not get the driver details in a formal manner before one day of our trip instead they just provided the vehicle's owner contact. We tried calling VajraCabs customer care executives but they did not respond. Hence we contacted the vehicle owner and he assured us that his driver will come on time in the morning.
on the day of our trip, the driver didn't reach and his no. was not reachable and the vehicle's owner behavior to us was very rude and also VajraCabs customer care executives were not picking up the phone. We had to go to their office to seek for a solution but there also we did not receive any satisfactory response. We had to incur the loss for our hotel bookings.
We registered complaint against them in consumer forum and send formal notice as well but because of their absurd terms and conditions, legally its difficult to withhold anything against them.

In the terms and condition policies they have mentioned that ''The Company shall be entitled at any time without giving any reason to terminate the booking of taxis booked by the Customer.'' And the same thing they did to us or may be to other people also.
That clearly means, they do not care about the customers and violates the customer integrity clearly and trying to get away with their mentioned absurd terms and conditions.

I strongly recommend to please go through their term and conditions on their website then decide at your own risk and if possible keep a b-plan ready if you are booking via Vajra cabs
We had booked a Cab from Bangalore to Mysore but the taxi never arrived and no one picked the call during the day. Later they picked the call and apolologised and promised for refund. Its been almost a month but the amount is not yet refunded. I callled thrice and every time they said the amount will be refunded by this weekend.
We booked through vajra cab for a trip frpm Bangalore to Coorg over the long weekend (12th Aug to 15th Aug). Our trip started on time however the driver never listened to anything we told him. He refused to take us anywhere which was a little far like Talacauvery etc. Also, wherever we visited, he would drop us almost 2 Kms before reaching the destination telling us that the tourist spot is just few meters away. Traveling with parents who are aged, it became extremely difficult. Even after we understood later what he was trying to do, we told him to take us as close to the tourist spot as possible, he still would refuse saying there is no parking there and all that even thought every destination did have a parking spot right near the point where we had to get down. While returning from Coorg, he did not take the Mysore route even though we told him to since we wanted to see the mysore palace etc. He took the Hasan road instead and it had 5 tolls which costed us 350Rs. unnecessarily. The business model of vajra cabs is different. They do not have their own cabs and only tie up with separate cabs. The driver who came to pick us up (Cab No. 7258) was the owner of the cab and everyoney that we paid at the end went to him. He deliberately did not take us to far off places to save his diesel and kilometres even thiugh we paod for 250Kms per day, we never reached even close to the total. He kept saying that this place is extremely far and that place is extremely far and the car doesnt go here there etc. He wasted the whole of our trip and money and this resulted in an extremely bad experience for us. We could not visit 3-4 places where we could have gone. He also took us for lunch, dinner to extremely downmarket places deliberately since he would get commission there. It was a horrible experience for us. One should never ever book cabs from vajra cabs.
