I booked appointment for UK Visitor Visa for 18th June 2025 for myself and my wife. It was a standard appointment and all our documents were already uploaded. When we reached the place, we went through multiple checks and enquiries and then passed on to an agent who welcomed us. After taking the passports and checking it she asked where are we going and why and whether we want courier passport return and I said yes. She asked me to pay INR 6000 each. I paid the amount thinking it as genuine normal charges as she was continuously asking about our visit and other things and in terms of providing any information, she only said " don't worry you will get your visa soon, just pay these charges". Neither they provided us any kind of special service/ treatment nor any premium lounge service. After biometrics, we came back home and get to know that we had been misleaded and incurred extra charges for services not provided to us. I raise a complaint on VFS Global website but all in vain. After a month of email game and same email every week "we are working on your enquiry", they said they will not refund any amount for services availed. Although I explained everything to them that no services were provided except passport courier return service but they denied again. I want refund for all the extra charges taken from us by misleading us and providing no information and compensation for the waste of time.
