Dear Sir/madam,
I had purchased a videocon mobile model V1655 through Homeshop 18 in Jan 2011 to gift it to my wife on her birthday ,but since beginning itself it was a problematic set for which I had done complaint to home shop 18 also and asked for its service centre at Dehradun, which they were not able to tell me for about a week. There were complaints like (1)There was lot of destortion during any call, (2) It is not connecting to PC, (3) In Aug 2011 Its desplay became white when taken to the service centre (M/S Allied Infotel) They told that its desplay was broken and it is not covered under warrenty and will be repaired for Rs 1200.00. I agreed to get it repaired as I don't have any option. The set was given on 08 Aug 2011 and inspite of repeated visits and phone calls I was able to get it in Feb 12. Its battery was not charged so I could not check it in sevice centre when I reached home I found it same asd before. I immediately called to Mr Saurabh (service centre owner).He asked me to bring it back to them.Again I had to go there to get it repaired. On 08 Mar 2012 its charger lead broken, I searched in full Dehradun but could not find any lead, then I phoned to the same service centre and asked for the lead or charger.He told that it is not available and will be ordered and I have to wait for one week. Sir Iam fed up with this mole please guide me what to do.

    I have registered the complaint GHA[protected] on 4th april 2012 regarding my AC which is in warranty and is non functional. One of your engineer made a visit and said that the gas needs to be refilled and someoneone will come very next day to do so.
    I received the message with number of Mr Saroj. He did not turn up next day and his mobile was switched off. We contacted Customer care and got a robotic reply that we have forwarded your request and will be attended in 24 hours. The next day I could manage to connect to Mr Sarojs mobile and he told me to contact customer care as he don’t have any complaint with him. Again I tried customer care and got the same reply “We have forwarded your request and problem will be resolved in few hours” but till now no information or visit has been made. Your customer care also gave me one mobile number- [protected] but this number is alwyas switched off.

    I have made four calls to customer care and three emails as well but no communication is made from the companies side

    Videocon India- split a/c — not responding to complaint

    My videocon split aircondioner is malfunctioning and a complaint was lodged with the customer care centre of the firm vide their ref # DEL [protected] as advised by the executive Ms Monica on 21.04.2010.
    Some persons who said as representing Videocon reached my place to attend to the complaint.In the meantime due to loadshedding in the area they couldnot proceed further and left the premises leaving the systm as such and promissing to come back next day by 1000hrs.Nobody has turned up since then and efforts to contact customer care has not been fruiteful

      I have purchased a brand new Novaplus 7.2 kg washing machine from Prakash Trading Co Gulabi Bagh on 5-4-2012 delivered at 9.30 pm at my residence.

      On demo of the machine by company person on 7-4-12, I found leakage of drainage pipe.

      Still to date no call from company and the faulty washing machine part has been replaced

        the deepfrezeer burntout on 29/03 2012.complaint attended on 30/03 2012.by MR.DILIP AND MR.RAJIV KARKAR.told us they will take action by 03/04 2102.i spoke to MR.PROSENJIT BOSE ON .[protected].but till date no response.the fridge is smelling very badly which is unbareablde pls do the needfull as soon as possible

          Dear sir,

          I have brought a single door refrigerator almost 5 years back which is having 6 years of guaranty. Recently compressor of the refrigerator went down and the refrigerator is not working. We have raised a complaint through customer care almost 1 month back and I still don’t have proper response from them.

          I have been raising the complaint for the same reason for last one month. PFB reference number

          All this requests have been closed without addressing to the issue. Every time I call, they open a new request and inform me that I will get a call in 24 hours. But I have not received even a single call from them. Even if I call the Engineer SHASHIDHAR(Requests were assigned to him)I was not getting the proper response.
          Today an engineer came to house and he was telling that photo of the compressor number should be taken by the company officials and the change of compressor should be approved by the company, then only the compressor can be changed.

          This is highly unacceptable to take months to resolve a single complaint. This is not what we expect from the you. Please respond to the request As soon as possible if not I am going to book a legal case against this in the consumer court.

            I had purchased a mobile (Videocon V1675) from indiatimes shopping by giving order (Order No.[protected] which was sent by Bluedart Courier. It was in bad condition. I had requested to replace it but it was replaced after one months. But after some days it again started to show same problem. This mobile is in very very bad condition. This phone has been in dead state since i purchased it (three months). This phone is troubling me alot...
            I had gone it's service center at laxmi nagar (which was mentioned on website) but there are no service centers in laxmi nagar delhi-92...

              I liked shoes and mixer but after some time the price was hiked and the same are available in cheapest rate in market and shoes which i liked in or under 2500rs there were not size available so this is 100% FRAUD

                  I purchased a LCD Videcon TV through Receipt No. 18/891 dated 25.03.2012 from your dealer M/s. Shyam Raddios, Mathura.
                  Dealer send their technician for tuning the TV, but technician replied that CARD of TV Burned while all electrocins equipments are protected in my house by 5 KG Stablizer and TV not started since purchasing time.
                  Now no body is taking intrest to repair or replacement of TV.
                  I have also send 4 e-mail to customer care but not get any fruitful result.
                  Therefore, you are requested to help me and repaired the brand new TV.

                    DTD 04/03/12 I HAD REQUESTED TO INSTALL ABOVE CONNECION, I HAD OPTED FOR GOLD PACKAGE RS 175/- PER MONTH INITIAL AMOUNT I PAID RS 1590/- FOR WHICH I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET 1 MONTH FREE, DURING THE INSALLATION ENGINEER HAD CHARGED ME RS 200/- FOR EXTRA CABLE.
                    I NEVER REQUESTED FOR ANY OTHER SERVICES, THEY ACTIVATED DIMOND PKG ON MY ID, WHICH I COULD KNEW ONLY WHEN I RCVD MESSAGE FROM THEM SAYING MY SUBSCRIPTION WILL END ON 25TH MARCH , I NEED TO RECAHRGE MY ACCOUNT.
                    I CONCATED DEALER & CUSTOMER SERVICES, CUSTOMER SERVICES IS NOT READY TO WRITE ANY COMPALINT AGAINST THIS.
                    ON 24/03 I REQUESTED THEM TO STOP CONVERT DIMON PKG TO GOLD THEY REGISTERED A COMPLAINT & SAID THIS WILL BE DONE ON 26/03/12,
                    MEANWHILE ON 25/03, I RECHARGED MY A/C WITH 175 & 175 TWO TIMES BY MISTAKEN, I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICES, THEY SAID AMOUNT IS CREDITED TO YOU’RE A/C WILL EXTEND VALIDITY PERIOD.

                    NOW JUST TO VERY FY WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICES DTD 26/03, THEY ARE TELLING YOUR DIMOND PKG WILLL OVER ON 04/04,
                    I DON’T WANT TO PAY ANYTHING EXTRA THAN RS 175/- PER MONTH, WITH IMMEDIATE EFFET I WANT TO CONVERT FROM DIOMND PKG TO GOLD PKG, I HAVE ALREADY RECHARGED WITH RS 350/- DTD 25/03 WHICH SHOULD BE VALID TILL 25/05 ( 2 month)
                    Vey bad experience with customer service, they were not co-operative all the time not ready to register complaint

                      Dear Sirs,
                      I had purchased Videocon Washing Machine Model Conzerve 5800 fully automatic washing machine sr no. 4755 from Gandhi Electronics Borivali west vide their bill no. 08/08 dtd 16.3.2008.
                      Unfortunately from the day one there was one or the other problem with the same. I had called up their service center several times, they were just assuring me that everything will be alright. But then the situation was same. After one year of warranty period they forced me to go for AMC to avoid additional cost etc and so i was paying Rs1300+ for the same and problem continued till date. I had asked for replacement of the piece but they said it is not possible. Now this year again, on 25th March 2012 the AMC is due for renewal now they says the product is declared obsolete by the company and hence no AMC will be renewed further. They also knows that the piece is defective and requires regular wear and tear. This will be a costly affair if i go without AMC and i will be spending more that the cost of machine. Earlier also they have taken money in one or the other form though it was in AMC. I have mailed to the chairman of the company mr venugopal dhoot in this regard but of no use.
                      Just inform your group people to be careful.....

                      can someone please share the email id of the CEO / Chairman of Videocon where an issue can be escalated because the customer care seems to be useless and incapable of providing any solution except more frustration to the customer... sad to say that I have been an old Videocon customer yet the Company owes me no loyalty... I would not recommend videocon products to any individual because they simple get rid of all their junk without any guarantee ...

                      HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED !

                          Sir,
                          I purchased a Videocon mobile handset V-1475 from their dealer in Dehradun in February 2011. Soon after the purchase, it was observed that the phone is having functional problem and it is not getting connected with PC through its USB port( which was one of the main feature for me to purchase the phone). It was immediately brought to the notice of the dealer but he refused to replace and recommended to get the service from Videocon's service centre only. The Service centre got the handset submitted and the process of rectification took about a month. The replacement handset I received was also with the same problem and it was brought to the notice of customer care who suggested to again submit the handset to the service center. As it consumed a lot of my time, energy and efforts to get one rectification, I requested for a standby handset so that my work does not suffer while they rectify the problem, to which they refused and I could not submit the handset at that point of time.

                          Now again in February 2012 when I could submitted the hand set for rectification, I am not getting a satisfactory solution from them. The support team is swapping the faulty handset with another old faulty handset and so far have swapped 3 more handsets, all with faults which are verified by their representative. This process has again consumed my lots of energy and efforts and almost 2 moths are lost resulting in work loss.

                          The communication held with their support team is pasted below this message.

                          I am approaching this forum for support and suggestion on how to get the problem rectified.

                          Dear Support Team,

                          This is to inform you that the replacement handset (IMEI[protected] I received through your representative worked for only one day and shown the same problem again. Moreover, it also had the problem of connectivity through Phone Suite. It was shown to your representative here and was given back to him for rectification. A standby set was given by him which also has faults. This is the fifth time the handset is given back for rectification but resulted in no proper solution from your end.

                          Please note that this time no formal delivery letter or challan has been given to me while giving or taking the handset.

                          Your team has been continuously trying to close the complaints by just swapping the old faulty handsets but has not been able to so far provide me with a troublefree handset.

                          Kindly note that initially you took one month to replace the handset in Feb-March 2011 and now it is around two months and already lots of my time and energy is invested in dealing with you resulting in loss of my work.

                          Moreover, the handset was earlier communicating with PC (contacts and messages only) through your phone suit software, but now this feature is also NON-FUNCTIONAL. Your representative also tried it while handing it to me...!

                          In spite of waiting for so many days the solution provided by you is not satisfactory. You have only replaced the faulty hardware of the phone I was having with another faulty hardware. This is absolutely not expected and not acceptable to me.

                          No document related to delivery of the handset has been provided to me while handing over the handset which would contain the new IMEI number.

                          Please confirm if you are not able to provide me with a proper solution, I would approach the other appropriate authorities meant for the purpose.

                          I approached your service center and i am told that the swapped handsent received by them is also showing the same fault/ problem.

                          already enough time has passed and i am not been provided with a solution. this is a dual sim phone and two of my connections could not be used thereby affecting my work. same situation occured when i purchased this hand set and submitted it back to you for rectification and it took about a month.

                          The problem i am facing with this hand set is consistant and has appreared in several handsets of same model as i checked personally with the dealer. so in present situation, even if you provide me same model faultfree initially, there is no surety that it will perform consistantly.

                          I am again submitting my request for swapping my faulty hand set with another model with similar features and cost range.

                          i would like to mention that the swap of my handset with the used handset would not be acceptable to me.. Unless it is with a New hand set, let it be with the same model, but Fault free and Consistant in performance!

                          it is quit disapponting to note your response on the warranty query, inspite of the fact that practically in providing service both the time, the handset remained with the company for more than a month for the same fault. logically the warranty must be extended for the duration for which the product remained with the company for fault rectification after the purchase so that it can be well tested for its faults and consistancy of its performance.

                          Also, as i mentioned over telephone and as was indicated in my initial email, that this model has shown same problem repeatedly in this hand set, the previous one i had and 2 more hand sets i checked with the dealer from whome i purchased this set. moreover, the processing time it takes for any operation is too long as compared to any other model. i am very much doubtful, if this particular model will be troublefree...!

                          I would request if my handset could be swapped with a better model in the same cost range and similar features.

                          Also, as the date you have indicated for getting the handset, is after the warranty expiry of present handset, what support would you provide for the swapped handset... And for what duration..?

                            I am Harshadevsinh Jhala from Thane-Mumbai. I brought Videocon 32 inch LCD TV worth RS 26500 from Next Electronic store on August 2010 and manufacture provided the 1 year manufacture warranty. In February 2012 My LCD Stop working and the picture is stretched and divided horizontally in two part with big dark black line. I had launch complain to Videocon service center on 26th Feb 2012 (Complain no=THA[protected]), after 2 days engineer come to my home and check my LCD and told me that LCD panel is gone and I need to replace it with new panel worth RS 17500.

                            This is unacceptable within 1 year and 6 month I need to again pay RS 17500 for new panel. I had a several call with Videocon India head and Next Electronic Store India head and they said that company gives only for 1 year warranty after that company is not responsible for any damage. This company is using so chip component which work only for 1 year after that it would damage any time.

                            I can understand this is electronic component I could damage, I can ready to pay for Rs 1000 or 2000, but how come I again pay Rs 17500 to them for new panel this amount is good as new LCD TV price now a days.

                            Would you please help me out to sort out this case?

                            I've bought Videocon Integra 32 Classic Model in March and faced couple of issues with it. Initially the remote was partially working, hence I got it replaced.

                            I've a Onida DVD player and the remote of Onida DVD player works on my TV. I've complaint about this to videocon, but as per the technician, they cannot do anything about this. Its is so annoying that everytime I try to Fast Forward the movie, my TV switches off as the Fast Forward button of my Onida DVD player works as Power button of my TV. Many such functions are operated by Onida Remote. It is frustrating at times...

                            Another problem I had with my TV was... the color of the TV became absurd... I called the technician and got it fixed.

                            Next and the biggest problem that I faced recently (Last week) is suddenly my Television stopped working. Nothing happens..
                            The technician did some troubleshooting and concluded that the Board (I dont know which board is this) is faulty and need to get it replaced. As my TV is in warranty I'm getting this replaced for free.. But its been more than a week and I haven't got the replacement yet. It was suppose to be replaced within 2 days as promised by the technician by the promise is not fulfilled yet.

                            I'm without my TV since so many days now.

                            Its really annoying... The customer service is baaaad.

                            Dear Sir,

                            We had purchased above said T.V from M/s. Vijay Sales vid their invoice No. ORD2092111 Dated 21st March, 2008. This T.V was delivered at our residence on 24th March, 2008.

                            This T.V started showing NICOM STEREO in 1st week of July now and then.
                            We lodged a complaint with Videocon Sales and Services (Kandivali) on 8th July, 2008 under refence No.[protected].

                            Four service Engineers came to our residence during the period 8th July to 25th July. All were of the same opinion that if it is not repairable replacement will be made. On 04th August one Mr. Govind Jire came to our residence and took away some mechanical part from the said T.V for repair. On 9th August he came with the part and fix the said part in the T.V but it was no better then before.

                            Finally he reached to a conclusion that this T.V cannot be repaired but has to be replaced. We were also not agreeing to accept repaired T.V because we had hardly used our new T.V.

                            Mr. Govind Jire arranged tele talk with their Manager Mr.Tushar with the undersigned. It was mutually agreed upon by us that within 15 days i.e by 25th of August a new T.V as a replacement will be given to us.

                            We like to bring to your notice that if within 15 days new T.V is not given to us we will have no option then to go to consumer’s court because we have already suffered for 45 days with out T.V.

                            We hope you will take necessary measures to solve this problem.

                            I had purchased Videocon Hurricane 32 (manufactured : Jan 2011) which is used only for about 6 months by us. Now there is problems started with display. Within a minute horizontal/Vertical lines started & display is getting blurred and eventually non-visible.

                            Electrician checked & commented that the panel used in it is of Samsung & the model of panel used is having manufacturing defect from the start. He also commented that even in Samsung TVs, the same Panel were used are eventually had the same problems & the LCD panel needs to be replaced. The cost of the same is around 10, 500/-.

                            Can company do anything in this?

                              One CTV Bazooka purchased from authorised dealer of Videocon Industries Ltd under the Cash Back plan. It is agreed that Compnay shall send the bond for equivalent amount of the CTV Cost which is redeemable after 6 years. We have received no bond till yet though the same is confirmed by Videocon Service Department after the expiry of 7 years. Company like Videocon cheating the people by doing unfair trade practice.

                              We have written many times to Videocon Customer relation department but nothing happend till yet.


                              Do you any similar compaint against Videocon. Pls. update the same.

                                My refrigerator was under warranty so i did not have to pay anything. The technician before leaving asked me to keep defreezing refrigerator every 2 weeks (which means i had to switch off the fridge for 24 hours). When enquired about this he said since the fridge is new, this technique is needed. I was surprised but however obeyed. After 4-5 months, the problem again was severe.
