Vidyamandir Classes — Deceived by VMC Rudrapur Uttarakhand Management -- Refund not being made

Dear Sir / Madam,
I (SK Sharma, father of Ms Idhika Vashishtha) had a lot of respect for the system of Vidya Mandir Classes and I always rated it above Aakash Coaching, considering its good study material and performance of students especially for JEE. This is the reason I got my daughter admitted at VMC Rudrapur, Uttarakhand on 13.04.2023 in the two years course for JEE.
We reside about 20 Km away from VMC Rudrapur at GB Pant University Campus at Pantnagar and at the time of admission we were told and promised the following:
1. That there are about 5-6 students from Pantnagar who attend VMC coaching from Pantnagar by a bus, so there is no problem of transport and my daughter can join other students to attend the classes in the vehicle arranged by VMC.
2. That there are morning batches for dummy school students (10:00 am to 2:00 pm)

Considering these points and the already existing impression of VMC in our mind, we did not even go to any other coaching classes for any enquiry. As the feasibility of sending my daughter safely, to about 20 km, every day was my first priority, the fee was deposited vide receipt No. VMC2023UK00000042 with Rs 34258 as first installment.
The very next day I found that I was cheated by the Director as well as staff of VMC Rudrapur. Vehicle came to pick up my daughter and it was just a taxi and not a bus. There was not even a single student from Pantnagar and my daughter was asked to travel alone for 20 km with an unknown driver in a taxi. and there were no morning classes and batch was scheduled from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Therefore, during return journey, my daughter was again supposed to be alone in the taxi, which was quite unsafe in late evening hours on a track, a stretch of which was lonely and a stretch of which has no phone signals as well.
I therefore wrote a message, that
1. [7:47 pm, 14/04/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, we are feeling cheated. There is no student from Pantnagar. How can I send my daughter alone. We were earlier told that there are 5-6 students from Pantnagar. Unfortunately there are none so Idhika has to travel all alone in the vehicle which is quite unsafe especially in late evening hours. I am sorry you please process full refund. We, ll have to explore something else. But safety first.
2. [7:48 pm, 14/04/2023] SK Sharma: Kirti is not picking my phone. She doesn't want to reply. It was not expected. We trusted your words.

In reply to this, VMC Rudrapur Director wrote the following messages
3. [7:51 pm, 14/04/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: Sir Kirti Must have called you in day time today. You might have called back after 6:30pm. She leaves after that.
4. [7:53 pm, 14/04/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: We never intend to cheat anyone Sir. Don't worry Sir We will provide you a solution by mutual discussion with you till Monday.
We were called to the VMC Rudrapur Centre and were assured telephonically as well as physically that we will be provided with a workable solution.
We again trusted the words of Bhupender Singh Director VMC Rudrapur Centre and after few days my daughter attended classes for three days, considering the fact that she was loosing her time. My wife or I myself accompanied our daughter in the taxi (two days) provided by VMC and had to stay there for 4-5 hours doing nothing. On one day, I took her to the coaching by my own car.
During this period the VMC coaching staff kept us luring and assuring that we will get a solution to our problem. Since it was not working, and my daughter had already lost more than 20 days of her coaching, I wrote a message on 8th May 2023 to the Director VMC Rudrapur.
5. [10:29 am, 08/05/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, any progress in number of students from Pantnagar?

In reply to this, VMC Rudrapur Director wrote
6. [12:59 pm, 08/05/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: Yes Sir, Uvi Sadana will come from Tomorrow. She is in 10th but we will keep the same days for classes. And also by May end we will start day time classes during Summer vacations.
It was so astonishing that instead of providing a solution to our problem, Mr Bhupender Singh is again trying to divert us and postpone his commitments to May end. So I wrote this.
7. [01:45 pm, 08/05/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, it has been about 22 days, that we are in confusion. Everytime you explained, a different plan. My daughter is not able to focus and is very much in stress because of the unprofessional management of your centre. Before admission, you told different status of students, then something else and now you are again postponing to to May end. I don't want to be more inconsistent and confused now. Morning dummy classes as you promised have not been started till date. We are in extreme stress now. We don't want to continue with you any further. You please process a refund for us.

Then further communications were as follows:
8. [03:28 pm, 08/05/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: Dear Sir, As you were asking for a student, We have a student from pantnagar coming on Transport from tomorrow. We also do not want to keep you in any dilemma Sir. Management and Parents of Campus School are still in finalising stage so we did not want to convey you any misleading comments on that. Within this week we will surely give you a solution.
Please try to keep trust on us for this week and send Idhika to take classes till then.
9. [11:12 am, 09/05/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: Dear Sir, Uvi Sadana will come by transport from today. Please let us arrange an extra class for Idhika at 4-6:45pm today to cover previous topics

10. [01:42 pm, 09/05/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, we have completely lost faith in commitments of VMC Rudrapur. I humbly request you to process a refund.
11. [06:46 pm, 10/05/2023] SK Sharma: Please tell us details of our refund processing.

12. [07:59 pm, 10/05/2023] Bhupender Singh Sir VMC: Sir, I know that there has been a delay in finalising, but We have moved many steps forward to provide you the facility and solution. And thus please hear out the solution we have finalised to facilitate you and then finalise.

13. [06:52 pm, 11/05/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, waiting any further is not feasible. Student is already late by more than a month. Please process my request for refund
14. [07:45 am, 16/05/2023] SK Sharma: Sir, Please tell us details of our refund processing

VMC Rudrapur’s Fault
1. Providing wrong and misleading information to lure students to the center
2. Playing with safety and security of the students
3. Misleading parents about timings of the center and about the number of currently registered students attending the course from Pantnagar
4. Delaying and postponing the commitments
5. Wasting student’s time, money and resources

Request from VMC Centre
The name and reputation of VMC, which is such a wonderful organization, is being tarnished by the mismanaged VMC Center of Rudrapur. We were forced to leave and quit due to the unprofessional attitude and unfulfillment of commitments by the VMC Rudrapur. We are extremely hurt by the fact that we are deceived by that Coaching, which had a most regarded place in our heart. Considering the compelling circumstances, we were bound to explore alternatives.
Sir, people save their hard-earned money to teach their children and the VMC management is playing with their emotions. This is unethical and unfair especially for an organization name as VMC.
We now request VMC Company to
1. Make the full fee refund to us, as it is being demanded from the next day of fee deposit (14.04.2023).
2. Take some strict action against VMC Rudrapur Management, so that they don’t deceive others in future, which they might have done already.
3. Save the name, trust and reputation of VMC by taking appropriate action under such situation.
