No reply from support for my issue regarding warranty

I purchased a ViewSonic monitor from Flipkart.com on May 16, 2023, and received delivery on May 16, 2023. I was promised five years of warranty upon registration.

So to claim the 5-year warranty, I registered my monitor on their website and received an email informing me that my product had been successfully registered.

There wasn't any confirmation that my warranty was upgraded to 5 years, so I emailed their...

    Dear Sir,
    I am herewith sending the purchase bill of my computer monitor-VIEW SONIC LED Monitor Sln: SHZ[protected] of 18.5"width with 1080 days of warranty for Rs 5500/- purchased from Rokdeshwar Computers ,Borivli (E) attended by my technician Mr.Harish. It was purchased on 9-1-2013
    The copy of the bill is enclosed..
    On 1 st may after my work I closed the computer. Next day morning when I opened it I found only grey colour display and if kept longer the blue screen full of white patches. There was no display of icons Only the opening display with white patches.
    I called my technician on 3rd and he found that the problem cannot be corrected by him and he sent a complaint on the same day to the company asking for the Brand service check-up.
    The service Engineer Mr.P. Parab visited on 7th. He checked up and seeing the damage is inside gave me a report of it .showing the problem as"Main Board problem" and sent the report asking for a replacement. The copy of the report is also sent herewith.
    He gave me a name -Ms .Anita (Phone No.30555113/117.) for the further follow up. Accordingly we called her and got a reply that the replacement will take some time since it is not immediately available.But later follow ups showed that the replacement has already reached their Chennai Office.
    For the last 3 weeks I am getting the same reply that it has been despatched from the Chennai Head quarters but I did not receive it so far.I am surprised that a parcel sent from Chennai takes more than one month to reach Mumbai.
    Since I have waited long enough to receivethis parcel from Chennai to Mumbai I have no other way than to approach the Consumer Court I am going to approach the consumer Guidance about which I have already warned Ms.Anita yesterday.
    Thus it is nearly 50 days since my first complaint is gone and I did not receive my replacement yet.
    I have already informed them that I am a freelancer who cannot do with my computer and at present I am running at a loss.So I think I have all the right to approach the Consumer Court.Hope you all can understand my problem .

      Having been a customer of Viewsonic for 20 years since their PC monitor days in Asia, I feel terribly disappointed by the treatment I received in this instance.

      I was pretty pleased with my original Can$300 something Viewpad 7 purchased in Canada but unfortunately it broke down suddenly within 6 months o[censored]se. I followed Viewsonic's online support's instruction to return everything in the original packaging to their office for a repair or replacement. The earphones, power adapter and the faux leather tablet case/cover were so well-kept that they're sent back to them with my defective VPAD 7 like new. I spent extra money to send the parcel via overnight express to their office on Dec 11, 2011 and they received and issued the PMA ticket number R[protected] on Dec 12, 2011. Then they took one full month to return another to me and I finally received the parcel on Jan 11, 2012. But what I have received from them are disappointingly the following:

      1. A refurbished VPAD 7 of an older serial number without front and back screen protectors, my expensive screen protector that I sent with my original tablet is also missing. I don't really mind this though.
      2. The original set of handfree earphones is missing (now received back after weeks of complaint).
      3. The power adapter is dirty and covered with lots of sticker glue. And it becomes hot after plugging in for a short while.
      4. The USB cable becomes a very cheap dollar shop one instead of the original one.
      5. The faux leather tablet case/cover is old and torn and pressed with wrinkles as if it has been opened and closed 1000 times. It is loose and some tread-lining on the side is broken. The elastic band that's used to hold the cover is also loose. It is also not flat, with protruding sewing material from the inside of the flip cover that unduly scratches the screen of the tablet when it's closed.
      6. Worst of all: While my original VPAD 7 had an Android v.2.2.2 ROM, this returned one only has the very buggy v.2.2.1. Some of my purchased Apps cannot be restored or run on it.
      7. This returned tablet has problem reading my microSD. While I had no problem using a 32GB micoSD on my original VPAD 7, now at least 9 out of 10 times I have to reboot a few times or reinsert the microSD to get it working even when the microSD is only 8GB.
      8. The GPS sensor has a problem that the coordinates and directions are deviated.
      9. Even the packaging box is torn and pressed

      It is highly ridiculous that they took away my 6-month old Viewpad 7 when I sent them back last December for a repair/replacement but they replaced it with a very old and still problematic one featuring a very buggy and even older Android ROM of version older than mine after having kept me waiting for a full month instead of 14 days as they claimed for the turnaround time.

      They seem to be just swapping faulty ones, and give customers even worse ones, depending on the customer's luck.

      I have contacted Viewsonic numerous times for this issue but they either ignored my complaint or took ages to reply. My messages were not responded even when they're addressed to Viewsonic's chairman Mr James Chu.

      And now they kept me waiting for months for their resolution and finally today (Jan 30, 2012) they ridiculously replied that they could send me back a new one only if I had a receipt that showed the corresponding purchase of my tablet was made within the last 30 days. What's the fool's logic for this? They know clearly it's purchased a few months ago already before I sent them back for the repair/replacement. Even their last reply took more than 30 days!

      How could Viewsonic take away their customer's relatively new purchased product and simply replaced it with a problematic older one from their refurbished stock with all the old and dirty accessories?

      Can we do justice?

      I feel very disappointed at their service. Now 10 out of 10 times after I rebooted my Viewpad 7 I had to reinsert my MicroSD card many times for it to read and start properly. Their supports could not help, and they have kept stalling and refused to return a new working one to me. I don't think I will purchase another Viewsonic product. That's truly a nightmare guaranteed to end any long term customer relationship.

        sir,
        I have been using view sonic monitor for past one year.For the last 3 months my monitor gets dimmed frequently and it offs soon.I had called view sonic customer care a half dozen times and a guy said he will come and repair.Then he didn't came and started to reject all my calls..after one month he came with a monitor and after installation he said sorry this monitor is broken will change it the next day.Till now ,3 weeks are gone after he came to my house.I don't have any monitors now.i am calling that guy daily and he is not attending calls.You guys are fooling us.I have 5 years of guarantee and 3 years of full re-placement guarantee.But didn't get any monitors till now.Now am planning to file a case on the consumer court.I hope that will open your eyes.Its so sad to be a victim of such an irresponsible company.

            Respected sir,

            I have made a complaint to the Viewsonic technical support two months back regarding the problem of my viewsonic monitor which is under warranty. The concerned authorities take the complaint and issued me the Return material authorization (RMA) number - INAMP[protected] and service number - CUST11I238C. But still there is no response from the service engineer. When I contacted the technical support through phone call / e-mail the concerned persons are not responding properly and responding that they are going to rectify the problem with in 2 days. I have certain proofs in what manner does they cheated me. Finally I come to a conclusion that I am going to file a complaint in the consumer forum and I hope this will solve my problem as soon as possible.

              viewsonic lcd monotor — there is no display

              i purchaced one latest config computer with so many dreams.after one month viewsonic moniter given complaints.there is no dispaly. i have given toll free number complaint.after so many remainders service eng came and said there is complaint in dispaly board there is lack of spares it will take one week. almost two months i have done so many remainders through emails, phone calls but there is no replay till this compalint was typing.this company full of worst i have every seen. i just drop in dust bin and purchased another one.
              when we open the sustem i am getting red stripes and at times the entire screen turn to red colour.
              I have tried with proper checking with the cable fittings also. still i am getting the same red colour.
              kindly call on us to our residence and see that the lcd monitor is replaced with a new one.

                  coming to the problem : when i switch on the cpu, setup page and booting
                  process are visible after that the screen will be black until to some
                  time... after few minutes the display visibility is good i'm seeing the
                  desktop then again the monitor becomes black screen sir. i was purched
                  on january 2011 in tirupati the shop name is sv computer services, now
                  the shop is closed. how can i solve my problem. please provide is
                  there any service center in tirupati or else nearest service station address send me. suggest me that how could i solve this problem. consider my request sir.

                    Sir,
                    I had launched a complaint regarding v-line in my viewsonic lcd monitor on[protected].
                    till date I never received any replacement, executives on toll-free number kept on
                    giving false commitments i.e. after 2 days, next week, within 7 days, etc. every time
                    they answered me that parts are not available. NOW HOW MANY MONTHS SHOULD I WAIT
                    FOR YOUR REPLACEMENT. IF COMPANY IS NOT ABLE TO GIVE ME REPLACEMENT THEN PLEASE
                    MAKE THEM TO GIVE ME THE BILLED AMOUNT REFUND.

                    IN FUTURE I WILL ALWAYS TAKE CARE THAT NOT TO PURCHASE ANY VIEWSONIC PRODUCT BECAUSE OF 3RD CLASS AFTERSALES SERVICE. IF VIEWSONIC COMPANY NOT ABLE TO GIVE SERVICE THEN STOP FOOLING CUSTOMERS.

                    ALSO I REQUEST EVERYONE TO NOT TO BUY ANY VIEWSONIC PRODUCT. THIS COMPANY IS VERY 3RD CLASS COMPANY IN GIVING AFTERSALES SERVICE.

                      WHAT WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER?

                      1. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
                      2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
                      1. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature.
                      2. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by ViewSonic.
                      3. Any damage of the product due to transportation.
                      4. Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations / failure or interference caused due to any non compatible hardware / software.
                      3. Removal, installation, and set-up service charges.
                      4. Special charges such as Octroi, inter -state tax, surcharge, duties, any special municipal tax, and/or the like.

                        I have a viewsonic lcd monitor, which is not functional anymore, it covers an onsite warranty and repair/replacement service to be provided within 1 week.
                        i have registered a complaint of the 27 aug 2010, there is still no response from the company and it claims to have visited and repaired my monitor.

                        VIEWSONIC COMPANY SERVICE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND CHEETER
                        I have a viewsonic lcd monitor, which is not functioning from Dec 2010, it covers an onsite warranty,
                        i have registered a complaint of the 5 Jan 2011, I called so many times to helpline and technician, just giving us excuses and excuses, Unprofessional work and bad services from the Viewsonic support team.

                        there is still no response from the company and it claims to have visited and repaired my monitor.

                          VIEWSONIC — interior monitor problem

                          from the begining when i buyed the monitor the problem continously occurs, going on some waves which

                              Dear Sir,
                              I had Purchased a 19 inch LCD monitor(ModelVA1903wm)with serial No. QK[protected] which had a 3 year warrantee in the month of July 2007. In between then and now the monitor has been repalced with a second hand unit 4 times as it has not been working. The units that they have also supplied are of substandard quality as you can imagine they are 2nd hand refurbished units. The monitor has again mal-functioned and now when putting in a complaint, Viewsonic tells me to furnish the details of the purchase of the monitor like purchase date which I am sure is a ploy from their side to give their customers a run around as it is one of their executives from their customer service that told me that they have details of every sale and all the warrantee details with regards to that sale. I am sure that viewsonic feels that the consumer must be confused with all the 4 replacements but they fail to understand that I have still got the box of the original purchase and it still hae the serial no of the 1st piece that I had purchased which i have mentioned earlier.

                                I have purchased viewsonic !7" TFT monitor serialno.-QFJ[protected] from JAGRATI SOFTWARE & CONSULTANCIES PVT LTD DD PLAJA MATHURA. There was display problem in TFT. I have replaced it to the shopkeeper at 23/05/09 and from that date the service is not provided to me and now there is aproblem of horizontal lining also according to the shopkeeper.He has convienced me that the problem will be removed within short period. But the problem remains .
