Vijay Sales — new tv not working and it is not being attended to

I bought a new tv on 12 july and today is 18th july but the services are still not up and running. I called the store as there's a fault with the new tv but they are saying that now a complaint needs to be registered with them. What kind of a service is this with a new product. This is simply not professional. If a new item is not working, it should be replaced immediately or refunded. I have spend dozens of hours on calls following up with people to get this resolved.
