Hi team,
This is parvin shaikh, residing at sufyan manzil, new benagalipura street, s. V. Road. Mumbai 400 003.

I am one of your esteem customers, for many years. I have purchased vise led t. V model no. Vd39h801 and philips soundbar model htl 1193 date 17th july 2018 from vijay sales opera house branch invoice # 105-r-sft 2741. After delivery in next 2 days the sound bar was dead, as the technician came n said need 2-3 days to get it fixed, we refused to repair n returned it on. N got it back on 21st july. As from 2nd of aug 2018 my elder son was seriously ill n was hospitalised on 9th aug till 12th of aug, n doctor advised bed rest for next one week, as we have used the t. V for couple of days during eid time. As on 26th of aug 2018 me my wife n elder son were watching t. V suddenly with weird sound came from t. V n the display went off, in next 30 seconds it came back with half screen n was shattered. I tried to reach your opera house branch next 1 hrs, failing to connect, went personally to the showroom. As i met the senior person "dipen" n informed him about the same. He took my complaint n said will send the technician. After lots of followup the technician came on sat 1st aug 2018. He examined the same n said it is "internal damage".
The technician said report will be submitted in next 2 days. On 8th sept 2018 we met "dipen" he said we need to pay inr 18000.00 to fix it!!!. As we were in shock.
As both of the product mentioned above was defective n below standard quality. As the t. V was purchased with the help of bajaj finance.
Now your company has put an allegation on us that we have damaged the t. V.
N need to pay the repair charges that is 18000.00. As we informed them that while watching the t. V this incident happened, it means as per you, we are lying!!!
Let me brief you about us, we are 4 family members n kids of age 24 n 17, being lower middle class living in chawl in single room of size 12 x 26.
Me n my elder son have service. My wife was operated 2 years back for brain tumor n get "anticonversion" or can say "fits". Doctor had advise not to watch much t. V cause it triggers the attack.
We do watch t. V only on weekends. The t. V was just used couple of days.
The reason to give this details because your people alleged us that we damaged the display.
After lots of discussion with dipen and chandan they ready to give discount of more 2500.00
This is some very unethical and robbing your customer, this kind of news will damage your reputation n goodwill. As the world is very small n well informed just because of social media.
We, ve been requesting your people to replace the t. V save us from mental trauma.
