Vishal Mega Mart — electric kettle from tandem | |
I bought 2 tandem company electric kettles from the Chandannagar branch of Vishal Mega Mart on the 19th of December. I checked one of them and it was working fine. I work in Noida and had to return to the office on the 23rd of December. I checked the other electric kettle on the 24th of December and it had the base missing. As a first step, I contacted the nearest Vishal Mega Mart shop in Mamura (Noida). They said that they require an email from customer support and they can replace it. I reached customer care and they agreed to co-operate on a couple of occasions. Most recently on the 4th, I called and a customer representative picked and agreed to help and gave the number for the CDIT section officer, Mr. Satyender. The number turned out to be wrong. I again called customer care and Miss Bhoomika picked up the phone and said that they will only replace the product from where it was first bought. This was not expected. I cannot return to Chandannagar store for just replacing this product and it is already 15 days now since I bought it. This is pure harassment from the company to just replace the product at their other center in Mamura. This is not expected since a customer can travel anywhere and can have problems with the product anywhere. Please look into this matter urgently. This is causing me financial loss and the support people are not co-operatiing and not picking up my phone. Was this information helpful? | |
