Dear Team, I’m Shail Shekhar Jha, reside at Badshashpur, Gurgaon and a frequent shopper of your Vishal Mega Mart located at Badshahpur, Gurgaon on Shona Road (Kh.No.95/13). Yesterday dated 24th Dec, I bought a Christmas Cap worth Rs.39 around 9:30 PM by giving my RTN as [protected]. Since it was late Night I thought I will get the complete santa dress set at your store but, since unfortunately it was not available hence I was constrained to buy only that santa cap. However, on the way to home I managed to buy the complete set of dress for my 4 year old son from the local market which includes coat, pent, cap, santa mask etc. (image attached) and he wore the same Today on Christmas. Today I returned to Vishal Mega mart Again to return that cap which was unused, properly packed with tag but, your arrogant staff Mr. Narendra bluntly denied to get it returned saying it can’t be returned. Now my question is very simple and straight that are you guys mentioning it anywhere or told me while buying that product that it cannot be returned and precisely on the bill it was clearly mentioned that “Return/Exchange will be accepted at any Vishal Mega Mart Store across India” (image attached). And to avoid any confusion here that this was a single product on this bill which I bought that Night hence there is no scope of saying that this statement was used to offer return/exchange on any other product. If this is the case then why arrogantly your staff Narendra is denying the return. Apart from this you guys seriously need to train your staff on customer handling and etiquettes to speak with a customer. Due to my frustration I left that product on that counter only along with the invoice and returned home. Clearly I would like to mention here that it’s not about that amount of Rs.39 which I paid but the way your staff deals and handle a customer is seriously rubbish and certainly not acceptable by any individual who has some self-respect. And, Vishal Mart need to specify the policy on what can be returned and what can’t be and customers should be clearly communicated before they buy that product. In this context I would demand an apology from your local staff Narendra and credit note of the payable. If someone from your team wants to discuss this further then please call.
