I have been using Vivo X60 for the last 1 .5 years and yesterday I did a software update as recommended by the phone, After updating suddenly a green line appeared on my phone from top to bottom. I visited the local vivo service Centre ( Trivandrum ) - they also confirmed that the issue is with a software update & advised me to pay RS: 9300/- to replace the display. I told them that the problem is because of the software update provided by the company, so I am not ready to pay the amount. Then they checked & informs me that the company is replacing the display only on the phones with no physical damage. See my phone is 1.5 years old so there is a scratch in the back & no damage to the front glass. Highlighting this damage they are not willing to replace the display. This makes no sense to me. The phone display got affected by their software issue & now they are asking RS: 9300 from my side to resolve this issue. What crap it is ?? Even if there is any physical damage they are responsible to replace the display because the issue started from their software update. I bought this phone for RS: 35000 & after 1.5 years they are asking for RS: 9300/ again for the issue from their side??? This is not all acceptable.
I need a solution to this. resolve this at the earliest.
