I had made a booking on 19th December, booking id number 204336 through VolerCars(Contact number: [protected]). The payment gateway displayed an error o[censored]nsuccessful booking, for which I again booked a Scorpio Car with booking id 204339. Later when I rechecked, it displayed that there are two bookings done. I called the customer care on 20th December to cancel the booking, to which they said they would cancel 204339 booking id, and we will get the refund within next 4-5 working days.
We had to travel on 22nd December and return the vehicle on 25th(booking id 204336). While returning the vehicle I cross-checked about the refund, and the voler representative at their JP Nagar office verified about the same and gave us an assurance of return by next 2-3 days.
I have been repeatedly calling the customer care, and even showed interest in talking to the Customer Care Manager, but every time I was told that the manager is not available and that he/she is on a leave. It was a real mental torture as we were asking for our own money which they had held. I have been asking them to give a definite date by which they will credit the money to my account, as the sum is not a less one(INR 13859)which was made by a credit card, which has a deadline to payback.
I have been calling them almost 2-3 times in a week and every time I have been told the same thing that I would get the money in that very week and now it has been more than a month, and my card deadline is also crossed and i will have to pay a hefty fine as well as my credit(CIBIL) score will also go down because of late payment from Voler Cars. They have been a cause of real mental torture to me since last more than 1 month. Lately, the manager finally had the audacity to call me and even in this call she said the same thing that the Finance department is delaying the payment and the Finance department has yet not confirmed on my refund. I believe this is none of my concern, as I am expecting my own money from them, for which they are playing blame games since last more than a month. I have sent all the proofs and documents regarding the discrepancy from VolerCars side while booking, to which they accepted their fault and very ready to pay back the money, but now I don't know why they have delayed the refund so much.
Now since they have delayed my refund for such a long time which will cost me late payment fine and a lot of mental torture, I want them to compensate me with the full refund(13859) and a compensatory amount(5000 INR) for all the mental harassment that they have doing to me and they should take care of my CIBIL score from their end along with a written apology from the companies top authority.
