Dear SKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd.,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I have had with the purchase of test drive Volkswagen Taigun1.5-GT-PLUS-DSG-TSI-2021 (Picture 1), which I purchased from your company dealer Volkswagen, KPR CARS PVT LTD, Sri Gajanana Rice & Pova Industries Compound, NT Rd, Milagatta, Shivamogga, Karnataka 577202. on[protected]. The vehicle has been driven around 50, 000 kilometres and was sold to me as a showroom-maintained vehicle with a manufacturer warranty valid until September 2025.

Despite my high expectations of your brand, I have encountered the following issues with this test drive vehicle:

1.The power windows have been malfunctioning since the date of purchase (Picture 2). On 18/10/2023 within a month problem started Specifically, they are not responding to the controls, getting stuck midway, or making unusual noises. It repeated on 17/5/2025, 13/8/2024 & 20/12/2024 I have informed service centre each time. This issue has persisted and remains unresolved till now despite previous attempts to fix it.
2.The Android Auto system disconnects frequently (Picture 2). I have experienced this issue continuously, even after I reported it previously to your customer service. Despite their efforts, the problem persists till today.
3.The car's AC cooling is very poor Picture.(3). Even after the compressor was changed, the AC is still not providing adequate cooling, which is both surprising and frustrating.
4.The gearbox has a serious issue Picture.(5). The vehicle has stopped multiple times in the middle of nowhere, in heavy traffic area & forest areas, showing a warning of a TRANSMISSION FAULTY STOP THE VEHICAL. This has occurred on several occasions while I was driving with my family, causing significant distress and inconvenience. Given the high replacement cost of this expensive technology, and the fact that the vehicle is still under warranty, I request that the transmission must be replaced rather than repaired, as I am concerned that a repair may not fully resolve the issue. This is happening in an increasing interval causing me public embarrassment.
5.The vehicle also shows an Error in Electronic stability control and Error: Auto Start/Stop with an alarm three times on 6/12/2024, 14/01/2025, 04/02/2025 & 07/02/2025 and irregular showing of Engine check indication. Despite visiting the service centre, this issue has not been resolved. Picture.(4)
6.The vehicle's auto transmission is lagging for 2-3 seconds when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear and taking even longer when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear, which should not happen. Despite my multiple visits to the service centre, the service team has not acknowledged this issue. Picture.(8)
7.After three months of purchase, I encountered a battery issue. When I visited the service centre to check it, I was informed that the battery was not good and needed to be replaced. I was asked to pay 14, 000 INR for the replacement, which is unacceptable given the vehicle is under warranty.

To add to my frustration, the showroom representatives have informed me that they have especially encountered all these above mentioned complaints only with my vehicle, which is quite concerning. Additionally, I have paid a fee of around 3, 000 INR for Picture.(7) AC service and battery charging, despite the vehicle being under warranty. Yet, the complaints continue to persist.

Although I received a discount price for this test drive showroom-maintained vehicle driven for 48, 000 kilometers, I did not expect to encounter such persistent issues. Nobody informed me about the package of complaints iam getting with the car. If so I would have own other company cars which I will get a brand new one for the same price which I paid for this. I am deeply saddened by these complaints, and I do not want to continue owning this vehicle if these issues re-appear.

These issues have caused me considerable public embarrassment & inconvenience, not to mention concerns regarding the safety and reliability of the vehicle. All of these problems have occurred within the first year of ownership, which is unacceptable.

I request that these issues be addressed promptly. Specifically, I am seeking a desired outcome like replacement of the transmission, full repair of all issues, replacement of the vehicle. I believe this is a reasonable resolution given the circumstances.

I am looking forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution to my complaint. I have attached copies of all relevant documentation for your reference.
