I am an owner of an vw jetta. I had a problem with my gear shifting. So i have given the car to evm kochi on monday morning 10:00 hrs. No doubt they have entertained me without an appointment as this is a breakdown case.
Around 15:00 hrs the service representative gave me call and conveyed the problem which i agreed to them. So as per there instructions the part was to be ordered and will be replaced within 3 working days. Since 1st of may was an holiday i was in an impression that i will get my car by 4th of may. I had paid already for a vacation from 5th and till last moment i was waiting for my car. Today on 3rd may they informed me that the part was not available in india and has to be imported from germany.
Now i have to hire a taxi for the already planned vacation
One thing i cannot understand is when there was no stock present in india why the service representative gave me a false promise.
Who will pay for my extra expenses paid to taxi?
Is this the way you handle the customer who is buying a dream car and end up spending in taxi?
Is this the way you are keeping your inventory and stock updated so that no body knows how much is the stock present?
