[Resolved] Volkswagen India — Polo Petrol 1.2L 2016 Model | |||
On 11 Oct 2020, while returning from Tirupati to Hyderabad, on National Highway some heavy iron particles fell/left on the middle of the road. Due to low ground clearance of POLO car, the bottom section which is Oil Sump got hit when the car moved from the iron particles, which may have caused air crack and that developed in leakage of Engine OIL. Later I spoke to customer support team and have been advised to not drive the vehicle then I have arranged for towing. Later the Car was shifted to PPS Motors Kukatpally. I have learned from the service manager/technician that they have replaced the Oil Sump and required spares but even after that the problem is not resolved. It is understood that engine has developed major damage which is the reason why the current engine should be replaced with a new engine. The new Engine is costing around whooping 3.75 Lakhs INR (5, 030 USD). Was this information helpful? | |||
