VRL Logistics / VRL Group — Asking xerox copy of Adhar card while receiving parcel

I got a consignment with consignment id-L6021KA1983PLC005247. When I reached the VRL office to receive my parcel, the executive said that I need to provide my xerox copy of the Adhar card. Even though I was carrying all the original documents, the executive refused to hand over my parcel.

The way to get a xerox copy is very far from office premises, even after multiple requests, the executive refused to provide a parcel. Please digitalise your systems, stop asking for xerox copies of Adhar cards to customers.

Also your customer care number is not reachable at all. This is the worst customer experience i ever had.

Please revert on this and answer why it is mandatory to submit a copy of the Adhar card. Or Please keep a xerox machine at your office.
